  • The owner Always had a Terrible Attitude expression on her face, and my kid left from her facility with scratches on his face from another kid and it wasn’t reported all. employees didn’t know what happened to his face.there were no answers, so without any further explanation I took my kid out and haven’t been back since. Words of Advice if you leave your kids with someone grumpy all the time and nothing is reported it’s not a very good place for your kid

  • This is an extension of our family these days. We've been with the center for two years, and I really have nothing bad to say. My daughter thrives under the structure, and they truly care about the growth of the kids they care for. Great leadership, great teachers.

  • I absolutely love Cribs 2 Crayons! I have a 4 year old and a 4 month old that go here, and I literally toured 11 different ones before them and I couldn't have been happier walking through their doors! It's everything I want for both of my kids. Not only do I love it, but my kids do too. Before enrolling here, my 4 year old was at a different daycare, and he was having such outbursts, never sleeping during nap, constant disruption, and not listening... Now, he's never had a bad day here, he thrives with Ms. Andrea and naps every single day! This is a testament to how amazing the staff is! From the very first week, everyone knew my name and was so personalable and I absolutely love them!! Thank you Krystal and Cindy for all that you do, and especially to all of the teachers who care for my boys! 💕

  • The staff mean well, but this place just isn't fit to take care of kids for any extended period of time. Here is a non-exhaustive list of reasons we withdrew our son from Cribs 2 Crayons after just three months (sent to the staff at the end of March): - [our son] has been sick for nearly the entirety of his time at C2C - [our son] has shown regression in his behavior, including escalated tantrums and signing instead of verbalizing - [our son]'s gut health experiencing a significant downturn since enrolling - [our son] needing his clothes changed multiple times as a result of lack of supervision while washing his hands - Growing frustration and concern with the toilet use system - Using the incorrect pull-ups for [our son], even after we pointed out to your staff that this was happening - An overall lack of confidence in facility security - An overall lack of confidence in the capabilities and attentiveness of C2C care staff And the most egregious items: - (Child Safety) Numerous instances where [our son] seemingly had little or no access to water - (Child Safety) In the past week on two occasions, it was warm enough outside to justify the removal of layers (overshirts and jackets) and having immediate access to water, but neither condition was fulfilled; [our son] was visibly red today and warm to the touch upon being picked up as well - (Child Wellbeing) The fact that your staff told me for roughly six weeks that he was napping every day - and showing those naps reflected on the care board - only for me to find out in an off-hand comment that he actually hadn't napped at all; for what it's worth, this is when I lost any remaining trust in your team, your processes, and your center - (Child Wellbeing) The Zoo room being understaffed; I understand you have justifications for this that I may not quite understand, but that doesn't excuse the fact that our child's care (and the care of other children) suffered as a result

  • Cribs to Crayons is awesome. My son went to Cribs to Crayons for two years, starting when he was a baby, and we were so happy with the staff and his teachers. They really cared for my son and were always so happy to see him. I was kept well informed on what was happening with my son and if I had any questions I would get quick responses either by phone or email. The director and front desk staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. A few times when my son had a small accident (bumped his head or fell down) they would call me to let me know it happened but that he was ok. The center was always clean. The only reason we left was because we moved to a different state and we were sad to say goodbye to so many good people. I really cannot sing Cribs to Crayons praises enough. We loved them!

  • Cribs 2 Crayons is hands down the best child care facility in the area. My son has gone there for 2 years and they have always gone above and beyond to make us feel like family and to ensure my son is safe and loved while in their care. I am super critical and picky about who I leave my kids with, and Cribs 2 Crayons has been a mother's dream. I'm not a drop off and go kind of mom, I always spend 15-20 minutes at drop off and pick up and I'm always amazed by the Cribs 2 Crayons staff and the amount of patience, love and attentiveness they show to the children. We are moving out of state this summer and it is going to be so difficult to find anywhere that even comes close to this daycare.

Questions parents ask about Cribs 2 Crayons

How many infants and toddlers can Cribs 2 Crayons take?

Colorado licenses Cribs 2 Crayons for 16 infants and 24 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near Cribs 2 Crayons?

Cribs 2 Crayons sits in the area covered by the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does Cribs 2 Crayons accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows Cribs 2 Crayons authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
