Our daughter has been a student at Discovery Kids for about 6 months. She is doing so well, loves going to school every day, and has made huge strides in her social skills and independence. We are happy to have found DK when moving to Fruita and excited that our daughter gets another year there before heading to kindergarten. Dawn and Rikki Jo are the best teachers we could ask for!

I’m so grateful that my husband and I made the decision to switch our daughter to Discovery Kids! She’s been in Toddler 1 room for just about 6 months and I’ve been so impressed with the staff, her classroom and teachers, and her overall growth since being here! She gets so excited when we take her to school, and I attribute so much of that to her teachers and the environment they have created in her classroom. Miss KK and Miss Jade are both such naturals with children and I truly appreciate the time they put into developing relationships with the children they are caring for (and their parents)! Miss KK sends daily updates about our daughter’s day, how she’s doing, what she enjoyed playing with, what activities they did, etc. We love getting these! Miss Jade can always give updates about how her afternoon went and how her overall day was. This has made us feel like our daughter is actively playing and learning, and her teachers are involved and interacting with her throughout the day! It’s made it feel like our daughter is being attended to and cared for, rather than simply monitored and left to play independently. Anytime I show up for drop off or pick up, the teachers are actively involved with the children—whether it’s circle time, reading books, playing on the floor, having dance parties, or playing with them outside. I’ve never seen either teacher on their phone and it really seems like they’re both truly enjoying what they do and being present with the children there! The staff are also great—there’s always someone present at the front desk, my phone calls are answered, and emails are promptly responded to! Overall we are so very happy with the time and effort the staff have put into creating such a welcoming, supportive, and creative learning environment, and we are so very grateful for all the work they do!!

Discovery Kids provides a wonderful learning environment for children. All three of our kids have done Pre-K with Miss Jenna and she has prepared them all very well for Kindergarten. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Great place to send your kids!

Our girls had a great experience at Discovery Kids in Fruita. Ms. Dawn and many of the other teachers provided them with fun and engaging experiences. They were more than prepared to crush Kindergarten after spending a few years at Discovery Kids.

Discovery Kids has been great for us. They have done an amazing job getting our kids ready for kindergarten and used to a schedule and routines. We have been going for about 2 years now. It was a rough transition for our younger child who was not used to boundaries, routines, a schedule etc and they did not give up on him. Mrs. Jasmine saw something in him and worked with him really hard to get adjusted. We don't think he would be as far along as he is if it weren't for her. Mrs. Dawn is amazing with her class. Our 2 kids have either made it through her class or are still in it and she makes learning fun and they come home singing the songs and telling us about everything they have learned. I love the "preschool way" of putting on your coat. She gets them ready for the next level and learning independence. Our older kid would not be doing as well in kindergarten as they are without her. Mrs. Julie has seen me struggle when it is times to leave and our kids fighting with eachother or arguing over how gets to do a certain task or helps when they are hungry and always steps in to help during those rough times and gives the parents extra support. I could go on about how wonferful all the staff is. Last but definitely not least Mrs. Mouse. She cooks amazing food and I hear a lot about how delicious the food is. Thank you for providing a wide variety of nutrious meals and expanding our kids favorites to more than chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese.
