Helen, Yessica, and Griselda are running an amazing school at First Steps. They are sweet, loving, and present with my daughter each day. And they've created a strong partnership with my husband and me to communicate about what is happening and adjust as needed. They're also aware of where she is developmentally, and working with her on exactly the right next step. I feel so grateful to have been able to send my daughter here.

Ryan LeeAug 7, 2026Helen and her team are amazing! As a new mom, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to leave my baby after I finished maternity leave. I learned so much from Helen about development, sleep, introducing solids, the list goes on. The facility is clean with brand new toys and equipment. The place was always spotless and the only time my child cried from 4-18 months was when I picked her up and we were walking out the door. I can’t recommend it enough!

Stephanie WeinreisOct 7, 2025We are so lucky we found Helen and First Steps College! Not only is Helen a wonderful caregiver she is a knowledgeable teacher and amazing at child development. Her flexibility with scheduling and understanding of my son’s needs have not only benefitted him but has helped me grow as a mom. My son absolutely thrives under her care and has grown so much thanks to her and her lovely team since starting as a 2 month old. The facilities are exceptional as well which is a great bonus.

They update us with pictures everyday as well as their feeding and nap schedule. They teach and encourage speech AND sign language, which is so helpful in the early stages. I could not recommend them enough. They truly love what they do and your little ones will too!!
