Garfield Montessori is such an incredible community for my active child. The teachers are so calm and patient, celebrating his wins and working with him on his challenges. I love the diversity of the Montessori method, that they are learning so much more than just reading and math, but also world cultures, geography, and life skills.

The Montessori method is so authentic AND the teachers are so caring and put the child first. If you are seeking a tight knit local montessori, get in the waitlist today!!

The Director, teachers and staff are truly caring and supportive in helping all kids grow confident in themselves. We've also appreciated the curriculum, which ensured that my son was ready to thrive in kindergarten. Truly cannot imagine our kids at any other school and we've been so lucky to be a part of the community of invested families!

I heard about Garfield through a neighbor, booked a tour, and immediately fell in love. From the cozy space and huge outdoor play area to the teachers and director, it’s honestly hard to believe this place doesn’t have a years-long waitlist. What really makes Garfield special, though, is the community. The parents are just as wonderful as the staff — from local fundraising events and parent workdays to the genuine conversations at drop-off and pick-up. There’s such a strong sense of connection and care here. I am so, so grateful my daughter is enrolled at Garfield Montessori.
Maggie F-HMay 19, 2026An absolute gem of a preschool. GMS prepared our son so well for Kindergarten. He's learning to read, he has exceptional patience (for his age!), and he has learned to be a good classroom helper. If you want a daycare, look elsewhere. If you want a true learning environment, you will not find a better preschool than GMS!
