Mike DJul 26, 2025We heard great things about Geneva Glen from our friends, so I assume it's a great camp, but be careful when you register. The 30 bucks is non-refundable even if they don't have any room for your kiddo. I registered on the day it opened, but I didn't get to complete it until about 10 AM. They had room for one of our kids but not the other (which is odd because I submitted them at the same time). So, if you can't register for the camp immediately, or if you don't have some other "in", you're pretty much just throwing away your money and wasting an hour or two of your time (the online forms are extensive, which makes sense). I understand it's only 60 bucks, but it seems unfair to collect people's money when you likely don't have a spot for their kids anyway, and then not return it. Also, the staff is not very responsive via email. Perhaps a phone call is better? Like I said, we haven't sent our kids here, so it might be a great camp, but our experience of trying to get our boys into the camp has been a lousy one. It's really a 1-star experience we've had, but I didn't want to weight the review that heavily, given that our kids haven't gone here, and a 3-star seemed fair. I hope this helps others for next year.
