  • Goddard at Ward Road is fabulous. Staff is engaging, stable and truly cares about the kiddos. Watching my kids progress throughout their years was truly a gift. Too many people to shout out and name in one post from the administration staff to the teachers throughout the years.

  • Grown up teachers act like teenagers amongst themselves gossiping and act lazy towards request made for specific children. Can't even take out tasks like wipe baby after bathroom comes home smelling of urine or poop. Very disappointed of how this place still operates with Children

  • I would strongly caution any parent considering this daycare. During the time my daughter attended, she experienced two separate arm injuries involving a teacher. One incident was severe enough that we had to take her to the ER, where she was diagnosed with a dislocated arm. The second resulted in significant bruising along her forearm. In both cases, we were not notified when the injuries occurred, and when we brought them up, the daycare denied responsibility. There was also no effort made to assist with or even acknowledge the medical expenses. Beyond the safety concerns, there were multiple issues with transparency and care. We were given inaccurate information about what our child was eating. On one occasion when I dropped in during nap time, I found my daughter awake, sitting alone in a dark corner next to a loud sound machine, with no staff member comforting or attending to her. There were also instances of her coming home with sunburns, which raises concerns about supervision and basic care. The food provided was also questionable, including items like Slim Jims and other low-quality snack options that are not appropriate for young children. To make matters worse, when we decided to withdraw our daughter due to these concerns, we were told we would have to pay additional fees just to leave. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. I would not recommend this daycare to other families.

  • We got on the waitlist in April 2024 before we got pregnant. Once we got pregnant, we confirmed a start date of September 2025. There were mistakes from the then director when he had the wrong start date and ultimately 4 weeks after baby was born, he called and told us we don’t have a spot due to preference for existing siblings. While we still believe this would’ve been a great school for our child, we found the administrative communication to be unacceptable and how such an oversight can happen in the first place. Even though the director was let go, we had to call to check on our status before we learned this information after not getting an update after 1-2 weeks. This left us in a very stressful situation with having a newborn and needing to find childcare since we both work full time. The new director gave us an updated enrollment date of April 2027. We hope this oversight doesn’t happen again in the future and we regret not renewing our waitlist fees at other schools to have a backup because as stated in Goddard’s contract, they can revoke our enrollment status at any point. We wish they had been more proactive and did more to make it right. To reply: We did reach out and we were able to speak to Dan, the owner. Our review here is just telling our story.

  • We HIGHLY recommend The Goddard School to everyone!! Friends and family are probably tired of hearing about how much we love it! The teachers are all wonderful, caring, competent and truly seem to love their jobs. The owner Dan and his family are incredibly friendly and honest. We have always felt that our kids were safe, cared for and learning tons here. We still have one child at the school but our older child recently graduated and is in kindergarten this year. She was very well prepared for kindergarten thanks to The Goddard School. We have met so many wonderful families and made lots of friends here. We are so thankful we chose The Goddard School for our family. We will be sad when it's time to move on!

  • When I was pregnant, our tour took place on the first day of operations for Goddard at Ward Road - so we like to think we've seen this school grow from its infancy! Our son started daycare in the infant classroom one year later. We've seen Dan and his team grow the school to reflect our community in Arvada, with thoughtful touches that make it seem less like a franchise and more like our local school, including our beloved Parents Night Out events! The staff and operations have always been stellar - with one minor exception that Dan and his team navigated quickly and professionally after we provided feedback. We will certainly miss the teachers and leadership at our son's first "school" and we know he's well-prepared (perhaps even better prepared than most students from other programs!) to begin PreK in our public school system.
