We having been with Growing Minds learning academy for almost two years. Our oldest started daycare and now is in preschool. We absolutely loved the staff and the teachers. Our youngest one just started in the infant room last month and we can assure both kids are flourishing. The curriculum for the toddler room and preschool is excellent, with the right balance of learning and free playtime. Our toddler always come back home pretending playing that they are a teacher and they have a great admiration for their teachers. Our infant has been developing so many new skills and we really appreciate that the infant classroom teachers are amazing communicators and follow our child needs, working closely to us. If you are looking for a daycare that has a very good curriculum, and fosters the creativity of your child, while respecting families individual needs, Growing Minds learning academy is the place to go.
Bia DiasMar 30, 2026My daughter started going to Growing Minds when she was about 3 months old. She is my first child and the thought of returning to work and leaving her at a daycare most of the day was a bit overwhelming. But from the moment I walked through the doors of Growing Minds, I was immediately welcomed by a loving, warm and caring environment. All of her teachers (Alexis, Sunny, Araceli, LeAnn, Adriana) have been outstanding. They communicate throughout the day, send pictures and give me a recap of the day when I pick her up. Ms. Jessie and Ms. Alissa truly have a great group of teachers working under them and I have cherished my time at Growing Minds. Unfortunately, due to changes at work and a move to Mead, we had to find a new daycare that opened a bit earlier and was closer to our new home. I was so sad on our last day, but I am truly grateful for the impact that the Growing Minds staff had on my daughter's first of year of life. I would highly recommend Growing Minds to any family in the Boulder area looking for tremendous daycare that will love and care for their child.
Hannah BrickseMar 10, 2026It is very easy to give Growing Minds a FIVE STAR GOLD rating. Without the patience, understanding, knowledge and overall professionalism of the staff and teachers here, I truly feel my son would have missed out big time. He has attended GMLA since he was 1 years old, and not once did I ever think of leaving the school or finding something different. My son has flourished academically, socially and emotionally. GMLA provides the whole range for the whole child, while offering a productive and nurturing environment. All of his experiences, as well as mine, with all the teachers have been nothing but positive and wonderful. We are especially happy with the time he has spent in the PreK classroom with his current teachers. They are all a perfect combination of knowledgable and gentle. Last but not least, the new building GMLA has recently moved to is fierce! They have really made the most of the space and everything is brand new and beautiful. I am very happy with my son's and our family's experience at Growing Minds. We feel confident that he has been prepared for Kindergarten. Thank you to all!!
K BMar 8, 2026My experience at this daycare was extremely upsetting and disappointing. My son and I were treated in a way that felt discriminatory and deeply unfair. My child experienced bullying and mistreatment while attending, and despite bringing these concerns forward, nothing meaningful was done to address the situation. Instead of protecting the child who was being hurt, we were ultimately forced to leave the program. I also experienced harassment from staff. Personal information and past trauma were brought up in ways that felt inappropriate and hurtful. At one point I was even threatened with legal action by the owner for no clear reason, which was extremely intimidating. A daycare should be a place where children feel safe, respected, and protected. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. My son did not feel safe or comfortable in this environment. Because of what we went through, I would strongly encourage families—especially African American families—to carefully consider whether this is a place where their children will truly be supported and treated fairly.
metiki RingoenMar 7, 2026My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 18 months old, starting at their previous location, and even though I now have to drive quite far every day, it has been completely worth it from day one. One of the things I appreciate the most is how thoughtfully they handle the transition from one classroom to another. It is done progressively, allowing the children to adapt with ease. This truly impressed me because my daughter forms strong bonds with her teachers, and I initially thought each transition would be challenging. Instead, they have made it a positive and smooth experience, and I congratulate them for this method. I also love the communication through the app and being able to see the activities they do every day. It’s wonderful to see how well they understand the developmental stages at each age and the patience they show with the children. I often ask my daughter, “What made you happy today?” and her answer is, “Being with my friends at daycare.” That says everything. As a parent, I have felt supported and welcomed. The staff is amazing and clearly supports one another, which creates a warm and positive environment for both the children and families. I am truly grateful for this daycare.
Sheyba Barahona LanzaDec 14, 2025The Growing Minds Learning Academy is an exceptional place for children to learn, grow, and thrive. The environment is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to support each child’s development. The staff are caring, patient, and truly dedicated to the children and families they serve. The director is absolutely amazing professional, attentive, and deeply committed to creating a positive and supportive learning community. Her leadership is evident in every aspect of the academy and makes a meaningful difference in the quality of care provided. We also cannot say enough wonderful things about our infant teacher. She is loving, nurturing, and incredibly attentive, making us feel completely confident that our child is safe, happy, and well cared for each day. It means so much to know our baby is genuinely loved and supported. Overall, The Growing Minds Learning Academy exceeds expectations. We highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, high-quality learning environment.

Questions parents ask about Growing Minds Learning Academy
How many infants and toddlers can Growing Minds Learning Academy take?
- Colorado licenses Growing Minds Learning Academy for 20 infants and 28 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near Growing Minds Learning Academy?
- Growing Minds Learning Academy sits in the area covered by the Early Childhood Council of Boulder County and the referral agency ECC Boulder Co. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does Growing Minds Learning Academy accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows Growing Minds Learning Academy authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
