Handprints will always have a special place in my heart! My son was cared for and loved by each staff member! They answered all questions I had and they sent pictures throughout the day! Seeing my one year old play with friends and begin to talk was an amazing milestone for him! I recommend them to anyone looking for early childhood care.
Autumn IsleyAug 21, 2025I sent my son here with really high hopes. Before we chose this center, we toured and had a discussion about his needs with not being potty trained and being on the spectrum. I was assured by the director they could meet his needs. They allowed his therapists to come in and support which was amazing. However, outside of time with his therapists, there was little to no support. I cannot name 1 instance where their teachers were interacting with them. Instead, circle time was shown on a tv with zero engagement/interaction. The teachers were often sitting in chairs, redirecting students verbally instead of engaging with them and modeling more appropriate behaviors. I felt this was poor not just for my son, but for all the students in the 3s class. While this center has some positives such as providing meals for students, a lower cost tuition, allowing therapists inside to support, and willingness to work with kids who aren’t potty trained by 3, I felt there was still so much lacking for a daycare that claimed to be preparing students for prek and kindergarten. Along with the concerns mentioned above, they closed as much or more than the school districts for weather, billing was unclear from start to finish, and I felt the teachers were not always on the same page with how to support my kiddo and others. I think this daycare has potential to be good for some families but it is currently not at its best right now.
Michelle St. JohnMar 15, 2025This day care was recommended to me by a friend. I was very hesitant to put my baby in child care, because I was new to the area. After touring 3 other day cares I decided that handprints was the place for my daughter. I am glad because She loves it and she loves her teachers. I enjoy the fact that my daughter gets to play with kiddos her age, which is what she needed. We Love this place!
BetzyJun 17, 2021I love Handprints. They have a wonderful staff and my daughter loves Handprints. She had a great christian education.
Andrea RagerFeb 20, 2021If you are looking for a great daycare facility this is a great place! It is affiliated with Colorado Springs Christian School and all of the teachers here are great and very caring.
Heather WilliamsFeb 11, 2019My two boys are loving their time at Handprints. Such a blessing.

Questions parents ask about HANDPRINTS EARLY EDUCATION CENTER
How many infants and toddlers can HANDPRINTS EARLY EDUCATION CENTER take?
- Colorado licenses HANDPRINTS EARLY EDUCATION CENTER for 28 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near HANDPRINTS EARLY EDUCATION CENTER?
- HANDPRINTS EARLY EDUCATION CENTER sits in the area covered by the Alliance for Kids and the referral agency Alliance for Kids. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does HANDPRINTS EARLY EDUCATION CENTER accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows HANDPRINTS EARLY EDUCATION CENTER authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
