We highly recommend this wonderful childcare center! From day one, every staff member has been incredibly kind, personable, and welcoming. It’s clear that everyone genuinely cares about the children. The facility is always clean and well-maintained. We also really appreciate that the meals and snacks are nutritious and well-balanced, making it one less thing for parents to worry about. The staff has also been very accommodating to our children’s individual needs, and we truly feel like they take the time to get to know each child. A special thank you to Miss Frida and Miss Janessa in the Rome classroom. Our son absolutely adores both of them, and it’s so comforting to know he’s excited to see his teachers every day. Their patience, kindness, and love for all the babies really shine through. Also, Miss Tiffany in the Vienna classroom has been incredibly patient and caring with our very shy daughter. Her gentle, reassuring approach has helped make the transition so much easier, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing our daughter is in such compassionate hands. We also love the regular updates, pictures, and videos she shares throughout the day. We truly appreciate everything she does!
Nitasha MuellerJul 22, 2026Ms. Wilma is an incredible teacher, and we are so grateful for the care she gives our son. She truly goes above and beyond every day and has built such a special relationship with him. It’s clear that she knows his personality, understands his needs, and genuinely cares about his happiness and development. You can tell this isn’t just a job for her—she truly loves what she does. When our son returned to daycare from some time away on vacation, he immediately reached out for her asking for her to hold him. As parents, that says everything about the trust, comfort, and love he feels with her. She always takes the time to listen, communicate with us, and make sure our concerns are heard. We appreciate the thoughtful updates she provides and the patience, kindness, and encouragement she shows every day. Knowing our son is with someone who cares for him as if he were her own gives us so much peace of mind. We couldn’t ask for a better teacher!

They have created such a warm, caring, and fun environment for the classroom. My daughter , Peyton loves going to school each day and adores her teachers,!They are kind, patient, communicative, and genuinely care about each child. It’s such a comfort knowing she’s in such wonderful hands. We are so grateful for everything they do and couldn’t ask for better teachers or a better school!
Jessica SanfordJul 17, 2026Speaking from experience of putting my son in different centers, karter school of Parker by far Has been absolutely amazing. The teachers are very nice and professional admin is very supportive. As a parent, that constantly worries about the well-being of my child when he is away from me, it is extremely reassuring and appreciated that teachers at Karter Never failed to send updates and communicate with me. My toddler is in the Geneva/Venice room, and those teachers are absolutely amazing, including the floats as well. Being at a school that is so open and honest with an open door policy is so refreshing to me as a toddler mom. Every day that I pick up my child from school, she is very happy and talks about how he loves coming to school every day and all his friends in his class. Not only that but being welcomed into the school with a warm smile and polite, greetings, says a lot about the effort, each teacher and admin put into their school every day. Ms. Lauren, the assistant Director has been absolutely amazing in making sure I feel supported as a parent as as well as Mrs. Mekelle that is the Director.
Tiffany LeJul 17, 2026Our daughter has been attending the Karter School for a couple of weeks now, and we have had such a wonderful experience. We love receiving videos of her socializing with the other infants and interacting with her teachers throughout the day. Ms. Wilma has been incredible with our daughter and has also helped my wife feel so comfortable and reassured during this transition. We can tell that Miss Wilma genuinely cares about the children in her classroom, and we can’t wait to become more involved in the Karter community!
Ryan PiemeislJul 17, 2026My daughter has been attending Karter School of Parker for the past five months, and I truly cannot recommend it enough. Ms. Wilma provides such warm, consistent, and loving care. My daughter doesn’t smile easily for everyone, but she always lights up when she sees Ms. Wilma. The classroom is welcoming and kept clean. It’s clear that Ms. Wilma puts thought and care into the activities she plans for the babies. She is great with communicating- I love our daily chats about my daughter’s day at pick up! And she always tries to send multiple updates on baby throughout the day. As first-time parents we were anxious about leaving our daughter somewhere new. The staff has made the experience so much easier. Mekelle has been incredible from day one. The relationships built with not only our daughter, but us parents as well is one of the main reasons why we love Karter. Parents are always kept informed, so we never feel out of the loop. We are grateful to have found such a caring and supportive school. We couldn’t be happier knowing our daughter is surrounded by people who genuinely care about her.

Questions parents ask about Karter School of Parker
How many infants and toddlers can Karter School of Parker take?
- Colorado licenses Karter School of Parker for 20 infants and 56 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near Karter School of Parker?
- Karter School of Parker sits in the area covered by the Douglas County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does Karter School of Parker accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- The state record does not show Karter School of Parker authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation is county-administered and can change, so confirm with the provider and your county office.
