  • Going through a high conflict divorce and it was court ordered that my children cannot attend preschool/daycare without my consent. I contacted Terry the director and informed her of this and she still accepted my children today. She is very combative and lied to me, and her male counterpart is very rude/disrespectful. The mere disregard for a legal situation and directly ignoring it should raise concern about the overall accord this facility is run by. I would not trust standard saftey protocols if they are willing to completely disregard court orders. Additionally, my children reported they were uncomfortable today and "didn't like" being there. My youngest child is completely potty trained (she has been for 8-9 months!) and when I picked her up she was in a pull-up. Very disappointed with how I was blanantly insulted, and treated by this staff.

  • We did a tour for our daughter and plan to bring her here when she gets bigger! I love the atmosphere, the teachers were very kind and I’m excited for the structure and education it will give her!

  • I’m disappointed with my experience at this daycare. I understand every child adjusts differently, but I expected more effort in helping my baby feel included and comfortable. I often see him sitting alone with little engagement from staff. While they are present, there seems to be very little effort to guide him into activities, group play, or interaction with other children. It’s heartbreaking to see him repeatedly left isolated instead of being encouraged and included. I hope the daycare improves in creating a more supportive environment for children who need extra help adjusting. Funny thing is they even kick us out the check in system before our last day there. I meant they couldnt wait for the day to end!!!

  • My chidlren have attended Kiddie Academy for the last year. My older child just finished UPK and Kiddie Academy has prepared him perfectly for kindergarten. He feels confident and his academic and socioemotional skills have grown so much in the last year. The teachers are kind, loving, professional, patient, and also know how to set expectations and boundaries. I will admit I tend to have more questions and concerns than most parents and I have trusted Kiddie Academy to care for my children.

  • Our family loves kiddie academy! This place is a godsend and am so thankful my almost 3 year old son is enrolled here. The leadership at this school is top notch. The teachers, especially Ms. Savannah and Ms. Hannah truly care about the kids in their class and show this by comforting them at drop off and nap time. We toured many care facilities and this by far, was the best.

  • We have had a wonderful experience at Kiddie over the last year or so. The teachers have been great and the administration (Teri and Janice in particular) are on the ball. I’ve struggled with communication at past places and have never had that issue here. They made it so easy for us when we started and my daughter frequently comes home telling us about the new and exciting things she has learned. Their curriculum seems pretty detailed and robust. They have a great outdoor area and play outside a few times a day. The classrooms are spacious and very clean. We get daily updates and pictures which make it easier for me to chat with my kiddo about how her day was. They have a soccer program and tumble truck that come to the school that you can enroll your kid in and that’s been very convenient for us and my daughter always looks forward to them. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new home for their kid!

Questions parents ask about Kiddie Academy of Columbine

How many infants and toddlers can Kiddie Academy of Columbine take?

Colorado licenses Kiddie Academy of Columbine for 20 infants and 48 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near Kiddie Academy of Columbine?

Kiddie Academy of Columbine sits in the area covered by the Gateway Partnership for Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does Kiddie Academy of Columbine accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows Kiddie Academy of Columbine authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
