Lakewood learning center has been my girls second home ages 5 and 3) since they were 12 weeks old. We have gone through every class and interacted with almost every single staff. Several of the staff have been there over 20 years. To say we had a great experience would be an understatement. The staff were loving, responsive and took care of my girls as if they were their own.
stephanie shawJun 14, 2026We’ve been going to LLC close to a year. We liked it so much for our baby that we brought over our preschooler from a larger chain daycare, and he immediately thrived. The teachers are wonderful and care about each child, and the directors have been there for decades and foster a community focused environment. Very low teacher turnover rate, which is so rare in the daycare world!
M.C. CJun 16, 2025I cannot express how wonderful LLC is! I moved my 5 year old and 2 year old in January of this year. They were at a corporate childcare "school" in Bear Creek. Tuition increases and declining quality led us to find a new school. The difference is incredible. Neta's warmth, personality and loving nature is present in the classrooms and with the teachers. Most importantly though, my kids are really really happy. They were nervous to switch to LLC. They'd been at the other "school" their entire lives. But, they love it and their reading/math/language AND social emotional education is MUCH better. The quality, care and warmth at LLC is the best - without question. We truly could not be happier.
Megan CoulterMar 5, 2020My husband attended Lakewood learning center as a child so we decided to enroll our daughter here as well after being home with her for the first 3 years of her life I was so scared and nervous to send her anywhere however it turned out to be the best decision we ever made Neta the director had been there since my husband was a kid with all of her experience that gave me lots of comfort she welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family! To say she is amazing is an understatement! Our daughter transitioned well from being home with me to going to prek3 she loved it and she loved ms emma and ms julie her teachers she did great her first year then her second year she moved up to prek4 class with ms joanna and she absolutely loved being there she never wanted to miss she made lots of friends and all of the things she learned in her year in that class was absolutely amazing! Now she is in kindergarten at a new school and we just had back to school night her new teacher let us know that she is amazed by how much our daughter already knows she told us she is makimg her job easy! Our daughter is so smart and knows so much for her age we cannot thank Neta and everyone at Lakewood learning center enough! For taking care of our daughter and helping her to learn and grow so much in the two years she was there we are forever grateful !
Devera VigilAug 23, 2019We enrolled my toddler son here after he had been staying at home with me while I worked from home for his first 13 months. As you can probably imagine, I was an apprehensive nervous wreck dropping him off on his first day. However, after attending Lakewood Learning Center for just a week, it was apparent how much my son was learning, growing, and developing new skills every day. He LOVED going to school every day. The toddler room teachers Anjelika, Diana, and Nikki were all fantastic with him, and I really appreciated the 3 kids: 1 caregiver ratio. Neta, the school's Director is super involved in the local elementary school and in causes to help the community (food/clothes donations, kids' holiday music program, etc.). The school also provides healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks to the kids - a real timesaver. My son brought home so many fun different art projects and I really appreciate that LLC sends home daily status sheets (what the kids ate, diaper changes, activities) with the kids each day. We recently moved away, but will forever be grateful that our son could attend such a nurturing daycare. Highly recommended!
Rebecca MasiniMar 13, 2019Amazing teachers and great academics! My son was in the preschool and pre-K class at TLC. He started kindergarten this year at Ralston and aced the JeffCo Kindergarten beginning of the year Literacy Performance Report (see attached - goal=10, Spencer’s score=24). His reading is significantly above his grade level thanks to his great start here with their highly experienced and caring teachers. My daughter is currently very happy in the baby room. It’s hard to say whether she loves and adores her teachers more than they love and adore her. They may spoil her a bit, but I don’t mind because they take such amazing care of her. (Also, they wash her bottles & mix her formula which gives me one less thing to do every night. I don’t know of any other place that does this.)

Questions parents ask about LAKEWOOD LEARNING CENTER
How many infants and toddlers can LAKEWOOD LEARNING CENTER take?
- Colorado licenses LAKEWOOD LEARNING CENTER for 10 infants and 22 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near LAKEWOOD LEARNING CENTER?
- LAKEWOOD LEARNING CENTER sits in the area covered by the Gateway Partnership for Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does LAKEWOOD LEARNING CENTER accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- The state record does not show LAKEWOOD LEARNING CENTER authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation is county-administered and can change, so confirm with the provider and your county office.
