Great day care they take very good care of my two grandchildren and the kids are getting so smart
chonva crawfordMay 17, 2026We found this place when looking for care for our daughter. I called back in June to inquire about pricing and was told that the director would call me back, but never heard back. Now that my daughter is here, we began touring places and looking more seriously. Early August we drove by to inquire about their location located on Redwood. We were not allowed inside the facility because they had kids present, which is fine, however, there was not an offer for a tour at a later time when kids were not present so we could see the facility for our newborn child. We provided our information to the woman who presented herself as the director and she said that her boss was in charge of enrollments. She took my name, number and information for our daughter as we stood outside of the building. We were assured that she would get back to us, however, we did not hear anything. We went back to the Redwood location a few days later and were told that the lady in charge of enrollments was at the other location on San Angelo, we left our information once again and again we didn’t hear back. A day or so later we drove by the San Angelo location to talk to the lady in charge of enrollments and were told she wasn’t there at that time, our information was taken and a call back promised. It’s been over two weeks since we began inquiring with this location and we never once got a call back from this woman in charge of enrollments. It’s likely for the best that this didn’t work out. With the facility being inaccessible to view the condition of the classrooms and the lack of priority put into returning calls, I can only assume that if we had enrolled our daughter here and something had happened (injury, complaint, etc.) that it would have been handled in much the same way with unreturned calls and shady practices.

Questions parents ask about Life Center Academy
How many infants and toddlers can Life Center Academy take?
- Colorado licenses Life Center Academy for 18 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near Life Center Academy?
- Life Center Academy sits in the area covered by the Pueblo Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Childrens First. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does Life Center Academy accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows Life Center Academy authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
