The teachers are great, but the director lied to us twice: once saying my kid did not come in contact with RSV, when they had, then seemed to punish an employee who was honest with us about them coming in contact (the director was not there to actually even know); then the second time, we paid weekly on time and they started a new service agreement that was worded to seem like you had to pay the month after and when I asked to speak about it they lied again saying they called me and left a voicemail but was cut off, despite me getting no missed call notification or voicemail cut off. Despite paying weekly on time for months after the service agreement, we were then told we had to pay for days our son would not be there or we’d get a late fee. We asked to talk with them since we’ve been paying this way for over a year, and they were not willing too discuss it. It didn’t help that my son would then shut down every time they interacted with the director, despite being animated and talkative with the teachers and other kids. Therefore we ended up pulling our son from the day care despite him being there more than half his life and him loving his teacher. It’s a shame this was the director they ended up with. Again, the teachers are great and you can trust them, but be careful of the director. She might become dishonest and I’ve seen her talk not nicely to the kids. She also seems to discipline her employees when they are honest with parents in regards to health concerns. EDITED TO ADD AFTER THEIR RESPONSE: I was hoping to hear from the LSLC Board, or someone from the board, to talk more about the situation but it's been a month and have not heard from anyone, so I'm not sure they were actually looking to clear up this misunderstanding and there was no open communication. Just wanted to update this review for anyone who saw the LSLC response.

Questions parents ask about Little Sprouts Learning Center
How many infants and toddlers can Little Sprouts Learning Center take?
- Colorado licenses Little Sprouts Learning Center for 8 infants and 10 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near Little Sprouts Learning Center?
- Little Sprouts Learning Center sits in the area covered by the Early Childhood Council of Logan, Phillips, and Sedgwick Counties and the referral agency ECC Logan, Phillips, Sedgewick. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does Little Sprouts Learning Center accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows Little Sprouts Learning Center authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
