  • Our son has been attending this daycare for nearly 3 years now. His teachers have watched him grow since he was a baby. They have wonderful diversity among the kids and teachers, and we love the cultural awareness. He loves his teachers and has made wonderful friends. They celebrate the holidays, and this past Halloween they did a little parade through the hallway. Adorable. The Staff is wonderful at working with us for any changes. Example, potty training had been a challenge for our toddler, but the staff pulled together to help us and focus on helping our son. We've made great strides. We are extremely grateful to have found such a wonderful facility.

  • Our son has been going here since he was 3 months old. I felt it necessary to post this due to the most recent review. Some of the things the previous reviewer said are absolutely true. They do lose some of the kids clothes but they inevitably turn up later. They do run out of diapers often (which I see as a good sign because they are changing him often) he only comes home in someone else's diaper maybe once a month. However, my son loves going here and is always excited to see his teachers. He is 14 months now and we haven't seen one single sign of neglect or inappropriateness from them. You can tell when your child is scared of someone or feels uncomfortable about a place. My son almost jumps out of my arms to go to his teachers. Each and every one of them. The language thing is a small nuisance for myself and his mother but I love the thought of our child learning to exist in multicultural and diverse environments. I like the thought of him learning a different language no matter what that language is.

  • This place is horrible they don’t feed the kids, kids come home hungry all they feed them mostly plain Yogurt and pretzels and goldfish. They hit the kids from what I heard from other parents and always have the kids watching YouTube on their phones. No on hand learning!! The teachers don’t have proper English and can’t understand them and can’t respect the parents no’s and don’ts. The teachers will get the kids clothing mixed up from the children see that small detail is they don’t pay too much attention. The baby room omg!! Runs out of milk and diapers and it hasn’t been two/three weeks using it on other babies I don’t know if they are actually stealing it. I can go on and on about the daycare. The teacher at the center gave my son a black eye by throwing a toy at him. Her name is Stephanie Strametz!!

  • My son attended there for a year. He cried at first but that was expected since it was good first time going to any daycare. He stopped but once he moved to the toddler room it all went down hill. He started crying and screaming as soon as he realized where we were going. The biggest reason for pulling him out was when they didn't change his diaper the entire day (9hrs) once. I use cloth so I know how many I pack every day. Picked him up and he was wet. They said they had been doing crafts (although never saw anything he ever did) and prob sat in water so they changed him. Got home and pants reeked of urine and saw there was only one dirty diaper. The one they changed while I was there. I called talked to owner and he told me it was my fault for not making sure before I left. Told him no matter had I checked or not he still wasn't changed all day and that was their responsibility to make sure he was changed. I went up there to talk in person and they played blame game with each other. I told so and so to do it and he was changed cuz I wrote it on the board. Between not getting changed (or accepting responsibility) and my son's suddenly freaking out everytime going I pulled him out rather than trusting them again.

  • My son has been going to little stars now for about six months. In the beginning it was pretty rocking this being my sons first time ever at a daycare and it wasn't a very good experience for about the first month. But after Ms. Nabila, Ms. Corima, and Johnny purchased the place my sons whole attitude changed. He is always happy when he walks in now he loves Ms. Nabila and Ms. Corima he is now is Ms. Lailani's class and he is doing very well. I love that my son is happy and that he comes home in a good mood. His speech has improved tremendously in the last month of him being there and I am so thankful for Little Stars being in our lives. I have also connected with these three ladies that I mentioned above and I appreciate everything they do for my little guy.

Questions parents ask about Little Star Learning Center

How many infants and toddlers can Little Star Learning Center take?

Colorado licenses Little Star Learning Center for 10 infants and 21 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near Little Star Learning Center?

Little Star Learning Center sits in the area covered by the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does Little Star Learning Center accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows Little Star Learning Center authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
