My vegetarian, horse loving daughter lives for her annual week at horse care camp. She’s learned so much and can’t wait to be a junior wrangler. She’s learned so much and loves the food, the counselors, the worship, the horses themselves, and all of the activities. She’s become so much more brave and adventurous since going to LVR.
Cassie SchermbeckOct 9, 2025Beautiful scenery sets the base for the retreat. God's magnificent creation shared with us, as He reveals Himself through nature. At the women's retreat this weekend, filled with beautiful hiking trails, a giant swing, zip line, rock climbing and rappelling, good food, and a great fellowship of fellow believers. The staff is so friendly and extremely helpful. There are crafting materials, hammocks, picnic tables, all sorts of e activities in which to partake. I was pleasantly surprised to see a deer at the base of the zip line platform right before I stepped off and was fortunate to be able to get a video. I will DEFINITELY return!
Alyssa HahnSep 27, 2025LVR is very important to me and my family. And what I can say about it is that they have the best staff on a beautiful plot of land. There's not a spot on that property that is not breathtaking, and not a single person working there that doesn't give 100%. Thank you for what you do!
Derek VogesOct 20, 2023This camp will leave you breathless (literally 😂). This is an amazing place for kids during the summer, and they host retreats for adults in the fall! If you've ever wanted to get away, recharge, or set your inner adventurer free, this is the place for you. And Jesus is lifted high here 🙌🏻
Caitlin NeubergerOct 5, 2021I was there for a men's retreat for three nights stay. It was God's little heaven in the deep deep woods. I can't wait to go next time. Very Clean facility . The mess hall had the best smoked meats and chicken wings. I had brought one of my client's with a disability and in a wheelchair. The staff was so attentive to our needs and loved seeing him all the time. There is some improvements that need some attention like the path way from the main hall to the mess hall. I had the wheel chair got stuck a couple times. However overall it was duable to roll a wheelchair on. The cabins where very clean and the bunks where very comfortable. I would definitely love to bring our other clients to this wonderful gem in the woods. Also the Zipline is awesome it is also handicap accessible and my client who is in a wheelchair was handled so professional and he loved flying over the trees and then over the field, it made his time there a blast and a wonderful experience. I can't anything more then the staff was angle's and good godly people.

Connect with great hinges, amazing views, campfires, rock climbing, ziplines, and all the high rope challenges you can handle. This staff is all Christ centered and it shows. This place is good for the soul in so many ways. Any time of year it's great up here
