  • The Greater Colorado Council is making huge improvements to the camp. Offering new experiences for Scouts. The completion of the Zipline/climbing tower is awesome.

  • Thos is a amazing camp. I came here with my scout troop 780. We love this camp and come back almost every summer, but for some reason not this summer even though it's the camps anniversary. Instead where going to gi to new Mexico but they canced our cam so now where going to camp Alexander. It kind of makes me sad. Mainly because I wanted to do ATV's because I just became old enough to do them. I dont know why we HAD to choose a different camp on PV's anniversary. We chose two different camps.

  • One of colorado best venues for sporting clays. This is open for a public competition once a year.

  • Ask about stomp waffles! No, the adult leaders don’t feed these poop creations to the kids. They make the counselors (who are still kids) clean them out of the shower drains on a routine basis. Why? Great question! If this doesn’t inspire you to trust them with your kids, I really don’t know what will.

  • Just spent another fabulous weekend at McNeil Scout Ranch at the Dietler campground. The camp host Scott, who lives on site, was very helpful and answered all of our questions prior to arrival. We have participated in a week long BSA summer camp here, as well as several weekend campouts with our troop and have enjoyed the location every time. We can't wait to come back! Our campsite had pit toilets and 6-8 picnic tables. Water was shut off to the site but available down the hill near the stables.
