  • I find it odd that every person except one, that has writen a review on this school, are board members of this charter school....One of my children attended this school last year(2017)and early this year (2018). I had decided to take my child out of this school because there are no Certified Montessori teachers at this facility any longer. The school was taken over by the board members of the charter, and the only Certified Montessori teachers were run out, falsely accused with out any evidence nor intervention, and publicly humiliated. It happened very suddenly and very unprofessionally. One week these children had the teacher they had all year and the next week they had a complete stranger. In my opinion this is very disruptive to the students the most. I feel this school does not support this community or value the parents concerns about how a school runs smoothly. The experience I have had with the school and the changes that have been made are unsettling for both students and parents.

  • Awesome school! My son is in first grade right now and has really flourished at this school. The individual attention that they give each student is wonderful! They do pre school - 4th right now and are expanding.

  • With more than 30 years in public education I can truly testify that I have never encountered a more dedicated faculty, staff and Board of Directors. Their consistent daily focus is the safe, loving and quality education for each individual student! Bravo MVM!!

  • Great school, educating children in the Montessori tradition. Fruita's first charter school is an experience well worth the struggle of a new start up. This school does have traditionally trained teachers who have received instruction and training in Montessori. The teachers and school are working toward Montessori certification and accreditation. What really stands out is the motivation to learning and continued education not only for our children but also teachers, parents, and our community. This environment encourages children to be eager to learn because learning never ends. We can all strive to be our best and model that in our community.

  • Beautiful community! I LOVE to watch the teachers interact with the kids and the kids interact with each other. There is kindness and respect that I have never seen in a school setting before. It is amazing to watch such young kids being calm and collected and still very much excited about learning. My kindergartner is THRIVING. And so are we as a family with the support of this school community. Can’t say enough good stuff.

  • I couldn't be happier. After several upgrades, improvements and staff changes, the school is running better than I have ever seen it (about 2 years). I am so happy with the growth of my daughter that we are now in the process of signing up our youngest child to start when she turns 3. In addition to the amazing education, Monument View now offers art lessons, music lessons and has a semi-regular practical science course. It is exciting to see the school on the right path. Oh, and we just started meeting for our own 4H club.
