  • New Horizons has been a quiet giant in the Boulder community for decades. Here your child can come into their own as they learn social skills that will serve them (and you!) for the rest of their lives. Parents also experience a sense of belonging here as community is naturally fostered as the seasons pass.

  • My granddaughter attended New Horizons and in fact she wished she still could attend. It's the most wonderful school!! My granddaughter learned SO much. In fact, she arranged with Isolde to "help out" and came to New Horizons in first grade because she missed Wendy and Isolde so much. The staff always go above and beyond. Thank you all at New Horizons for being such a positive influence for my granddaughter.....and her Mom and me. She does talk about New Horizons like it was her home!!!

  • New Horizons was the best possible preschool experience for my daughter. The teachers and fellow parents provide such a high level of kindness and care. My daughter blossomed. Not only does she have fond memories of New Horizons, but she is still friends with children she met at New Horizons years later in middle school. I can't say enough positive things about this school.

  • New Horizons is such a special place! The community and teachers are so compassionate and caring. Our son loved all the special arts and crafts projects they created. We loved having our son go there, and highly recommend for anyone thinking about it.

  • All of our kids attended New Horizons Preschools over a couple generations! Our youngest tried other local programs and was most happy at New Horizons. What really worked for him at the time was the very relaxed play-based program and incredible playground where he could just play and play and play. The combination of some structured time and lots of open-ended exploration/play time was the perfect mix. The teachers are phenomenal and compassionate. He had a hard time staying at first but quickly ended up never wanting to leave. The extended stay time really helped me with my schedule and being able to get work done before pick up. I explored 9 other preschools in the area at the time and New Horizons just ended up being the very best. I loved the diversity of families.

  • We love the New Horizons community! My husband and I have taken our daughter here for over a year now and feel it’s an incredible community with caring teachers and a beautiful outdoor space and playground. We were originally drawn by the fact that it’s bilingual (Spanish and English) and have been really pleased with how vibrant the community is. Thank you New Horizons!

Questions parents ask about NEW HORIZONS COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL

Who can help me find child care near NEW HORIZONS COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL?

NEW HORIZONS COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL sits in the area covered by the Early Childhood Council of Boulder County and the referral agency ECC Boulder Co. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does NEW HORIZONS COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows NEW HORIZONS COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
