Our experience at OVC has been nothing short of incredible. The staff as a whole, from the teachers to the administrators, are kind, accommodating, and super helpful. Our son looks forward to going to OVC and tells us about all the fun he had on a daily basis.
Kate PonomarevaAug 7, 2026We went to this center for about 1.5 years between 2022-2023 and we loved it at first. My son loved Ms. Tamika! It was great until they started forcing the same vaccination schedule on all the kids. My son needed to take the slower route and they honestly did not care about his health and told us to leave if we didn't comply. We are now at a center and school that is a way better fit where we don't feel rushed or scrutinized. The schedule was between us and our doctor - not the whole center and teachers who would jump in the conversation if they were listening. Completely inappropriate.
Cristina MaresJun 27, 2025OVCA has been a wonderful experience. We’ve been there for over three years now and my child truly misses her teachers when she isn’t there. They’ve become an important part of our journey and a team that we can trust. We value their care and devotion to our babies!
Samantha WhittemoreOct 21, 2024Edit updated: Things have changes drastically the past 9 months, its no longer what it used to be. Our Village Children's Academy is amazing. You can truly tell the staff is a family. Both my daughters go here and light up when they see the teachers. The administration constantly makes sure the parents have resources for extracurricular activities AT the school, it's such a simple but amazing concept. From music classes, zumba, sports, etc. The school is often overdone with decorations (in the best way) and all the kids love it. We constantly receive pictures throughout the day of each of our daughters. And every week we are having to bring full handfuls of new art projects. We are very blessed to find this school, as I have seen such a positive change in my oldest daughter in the 6 months she has been attending.
CynthiaApr 16, 2024OVCA has been an amazing school for our son. They are caring, attentive and put great effort into planning activities and education for the kids at all ages. We’ll soon have another little one starting daycare and we wouldn’t want to take them anywhere else!! Highly recommend.
Jamie CunninghamSep 6, 2023We have three children and have been with OVCA since February 2020. My oldest started when he was 2 and is thriving in Kindergarten this year, and my 3 yr old and 1 yr old are still there currently. We have been so thankful to have found such a great place for our children and would recommend OVCA to anyone! The teachers have been wonderful and our kids always are happy at drop off & pick up.

Questions parents ask about Our Village Childrens Academy
How many infants and toddlers can Our Village Childrens Academy take?
- Colorado licenses Our Village Childrens Academy for 20 infants and 51 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near Our Village Childrens Academy?
- Our Village Childrens Academy sits in the area covered by the Douglas County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does Our Village Childrens Academy accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows Our Village Childrens Academy authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
