We have been part of the Peak Center family since 2019. My twin daughters attended starting at age two years, and were exceptionally well prepared for kindergarten, both academically and socially. My son has attended since age seven months and is also well prepared academically and socially to enter kindergarten. Several of the teachers have been there the entire time our family has been there, a rarity in a high-turnover industry. The Peak Center has truly become our extended family and I have always felt confident that my kids have been cared for safely with kindness and attentiveness.
Rachael HambyFeb 24, 2026From my personal opinion, if your child if you are not friend of a teacher o somebody there they will do nothing if your child gets hurt, friends or family in there will get every right to be protected. Taking my daughter out, she got hurt multiple times and I never saw actions taken care of, she does one thing and they want to take actions I'm not sure if it's any type of discrimination or what. She was treated like a toy, she was moved from one room to another 3 times and they wanted one more time, every time different excuses. It really shows a lack of capacity on your teachers to evaluate kids, moving a kid from the same 2 rooms a kid more than 3 times
Lizeth PennOct 1, 2024My husband and I are so grateful for Peak Center of Excellence!! Denise and Daley along with the rest of the staff treat us like family. My stepson attended Peak for years during his preschool days and loved being there. The teachers invested so much into him and his learning and playtime. My infant daughter now attends Peak and Mrs. Sue along with the other teacher who help with her during the day are so kind, gentle and empathetic towards my daughter along with all the other babies. They are completely transparent and their communication is great. It’s a tough choice deciding where to have your children attend daycare, and I thank the Lord that we found Peak to care for our children. I’m thankful that after I drop off my daughter, I have complete confidence knowing that she is being cared for with excellence, love and integrity. Thank you, Peak for loving my children like they are your own! We cannot say enough good things about you and recommend you to all of our family and friends! Keep up the great work!
Amanda CareyJun 14, 2024We love the Peak Center! The staff is amazing and they love all their kiddos! There are no worries when your kids have to be here all day when you are working or having to leave them for whatever reason. I wish there were more daycares like this one.
Megan SJun 12, 2024We brought our 4 month old here in 2023, and the experience was deeply concerning from the start. Despite completing all required paperwork and communicating in advance, the staff were surprised when we arrived on our first day. They claimed they had confused our child with another enrollee with a similar name. As a result, our infant was placed in a room with crawling toddlers instead of the designated infant room. Older children, approximately 2 to 3 years old, were also frequently mixed into the same room. The center was not using a digital app and relied solely on paper notes to track feedings and care. The notes were illegible, and I had to ask daily for clarification from both staff and the director. No one was ever able to provide clear or consistent explanations, and the situation never improved. Ultimately, we decided to leave due to their ongoing disregard for basic bottle safety rules. On multiple occasions, notes confirmed that the same bottle was used and fed over a period of hours. When questioned, staff stated that they were allowed to do this, while the director repeatedly assured us that it could never happen. This contradiction, combined with the seriousness of proper infant feeding practices of our preemie baby with digestive issues, made it clear that this was not a safe or well-managed environment for our child.
Libby RensOct 19, 2023We started our son (4 months old) at this daycare a month ago and it has been such a blessing to have found this daycare!! Denise and her AMAZING team have made us feel so welcome and like this is truly a second family for our son to have. Between the price, location, team, and everything in between, we are so happy with our experience so far!

Questions parents ask about PEAK CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
How many infants and toddlers can PEAK CENTER OF EXCELLENCE take?
- Colorado licenses PEAK CENTER OF EXCELLENCE for 20 infants and 33 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near PEAK CENTER OF EXCELLENCE?
- PEAK CENTER OF EXCELLENCE sits in the area covered by the Gateway Partnership for Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does PEAK CENTER OF EXCELLENCE accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- Yes. The state record shows PEAK CENTER OF EXCELLENCE authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
