  • Loving, supportive teachers and administration in a safe environment We feel so welcome here and our child is excited to go to school each day!

  • Our daughter has been in the infant classroom for the past 2.5 months and so far we love it. The babies do art and painting, go outside to talk about nature, have lesson plans with songs and language, and the infant food menu is incredible. The teachers are super nice and caring, our little one is always happy to go to school. Communication is easy with teachers and staff and there are even parent events like coffee or ice cream social every month. Highly recommend.

Questions parents ask about Porter Children's Center

How many infants and toddlers can Porter Children's Center take?

Colorado licenses Porter Children's Center for 10 infants and 19 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near Porter Children's Center?

Porter Children's Center sits in the area covered by the Denver's Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Denver's ECC. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does Porter Children's Center accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows Porter Children's Center authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
