  • PSA for parents that are looking for childcare - I'm sure the education at Primrose is top-notch; this review is not about that. Instead, I would caution about realistic waittimes if you are getting on the list. We put our son on the list in January 2024 and were told that a 7-8 month waittime was realistic. We just recieved notice about an opening. So... add about 1.5 years to any estimate you recieve.

  • The teachers—and even the leadership team—truly know my child. One day I got a call saying she didn’t have a fever, but she “just wasn’t herself.” As a parent, that meant everything. It reassured me that the people caring for her each day know her well enough to notice when something is off. When I arrived to pick her up, she was snuggled in the leadership team’s arms, safe, loved, and comforted. That level of care is rare, and it’s what makes Primrose so special. We are beyond grateful for every teacher and staff member who loves our daughter like she’s one of their own. They are truly part of our village.

  • We love Primrose Longmont! We joined in June, and our son has absolutely loved his experience. Even after transitioning to a new classroom, he still enjoys seeing his former teachers (Ms. Justice, Ms. Melody, and Ms. Taylor). His current teachers Ms. Tessa and Ms. Hannah along with the wonderful class support staff, Mx. McCoy, Ms. Liberty, Ms. Izzy, and Ms. Isaray, are all incredible. He especially enjoys the fun activities they do in class, particularly the science projects and Harmony Time. We also have a deep appreciation for the Director, Ms. Emma. She takes the time to understand each family she serves and is mindful of different family dynamics and needs. Ms. Emma knows every child by name and truly goes above and beyond to make all families, including ours, feel welcomed. Each morning, we’re greeted by the smiling faces of Ms. Marissa, Ms. Maggie, Ms. Jackie, and Ms. Sara, which always brightens our day. Lastly, we’re so grateful for the chefs (Ms. Bree and Ms. Maggie) who prepare delicious and creative meals. Their efforts have encouraged our son to explore new foods and develop more adventurous eating habits.

  • My family has had a wonderful experience so far at Primrose. Our little one has loved all of her teachers. She talks about them all the time at home and is excited to go see them everyday, especially when she was in the young toddler room with Ms Sophie, Ms Rebecca and Ms McCoy. And then she transitioned to the old toddler room with Ms Anna and Ms Leilani and woah did she love them! My husband and I continue to be impressed with her learning and carrying on sentences and seeing her development. She seems so happy in her classrooms and we never have to worry if she is in good hands when she is at Primrose. We’re truly appreciative of everything they have to often at the school. The front desk staff are great too and very friendly. Overall it’s been a great experience for us!

  • We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Primrose School for both our preschooler and infant! From day one, the entire staff has provided the most attentive, loving, and safe environment for our little ones. It’s clear that the teachers truly care—they go above and beyond to nurture and support each child’s development while making every day fun and engaging. As two working parents, we are especially grateful for Primrose’s reliable hours and minimal closures. Their schedule makes it so much easier to balance work and family life, giving us peace of mind knowing we have consistent, high-quality care we can count on. Our preschooler is always excited to go to school, and it’s easy to see why! They do so much with the kids—from creative activities to hands-on learning experiences—keeping them engaged and eager to learn. Our infant is also thriving with the loving attention she receives each day. The communication from the staff is excellent, the facilities are always clean and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is warm and supportive. We are beyond grateful for the care, dedication, and professionalism of the Primrose team. If you’re looking for a school that provides a safe, enriching, and dependable environment, we wholeheartedly recommend Primrose School!

  • We have had great experiences at Primrose! Our kids are currently in Young Toddlers and Preschool Yellow and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are wonderful, kind, and genuinely care about the kids, our kids are happy and safe there, and they do extra activities to make the week fun (cookie Friday, spring art show, etc). The kids love the meals and always have fun stories to share at the end of the day!

Questions parents ask about Primrose School of Longmont

How many infants and toddlers can Primrose School of Longmont take?

Colorado licenses Primrose School of Longmont for 18 infants and 28 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near Primrose School of Longmont?

Primrose School of Longmont sits in the area covered by the Early Childhood Council of Boulder County and the referral agency ECC Boulder Co. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does Primrose School of Longmont accept CCCAP child care assistance?

The state record does not show Primrose School of Longmont authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation is county-administered and can change, so confirm with the provider and your county office.
