  • Choosing a daycare is such a daunting task, and Benedikte made my husband and I feel at ease and comfortable from our first conversation. I could not have asked for a better first daycare experience for our daughter - Maria, Pamela, Lupita, and Marissa all loved on her and cared for her as if she was their own and it made the transition to daycare so easy. We love Shapes of Tomorrow!

  • Shapes of Tomorrow became our kids' home away from home! Up until this school year (when my youngest moved to preschool at his older sister's elementary school), we had had a child at Shapes since it opened in 2018. We went through multiple directors and teachers and had a child in every classroom at one point or another. We always felt confident dropping them off in the morning that they would be safe and well cared for. The kids get plenty of outdoor time, have a consistent schedule, and--in true Montessori fashion--have a lot of independence. Both of my kids learned a ton while in the primary classroom and came home telling me all about it. Shapes also does an excellent job with communication and provides a lot of time to get to know your kids' teachers and get updates on your children, including using Brightwheel throughout the day, doing parent teacher conferences, and providing extra programming for parents (such as mother's day events) where parents and teachers are able to spend time together. They provide in-house "field trips" during the summer which the kids love, and have the option to participate in other activities during the day such as soccer and dance classes. Both of my kids have very different personalities and different needs and we always felt that the teachers knew them as individuals and responded in kind. We miss Shapes and highly recommend them for your little one!

  • Fantastic school for Littles to explore what they love and grow as they do. We enjoyed the daily updates and appreciated the consistency of some of the staff, as well as special events for mothers and father’s day or fun activities around the holidays. For diet restricted kiddos, the bring your own lunch will be perfect. Snacks are provided in the morning and after nap. Daily outside play time and thematic circle times both help with the social integration also.

  • We cannot say enough about how much we love SOTMP! Our daughter is always so excited to walk into school each morning and has a smile on her face when we pick her up at the end of the day. All of the staff are great, and if you’re lucky enough to be in the infant 2 classroom (infants who are on the move!) your little one will get to join the line of cuties tugging on Miss Merissa’s leg! Merissa goes above and beyond making sure our daughter is loved and cared for. We can tell she really cares about the kiddos and is great about communicating throughout the day. Thank you to the Admin team for making it a great place to work so that you can keep such great staff members!

  • My 3-year-old has had a wonderful time at Shapes of Tomorrow! She’ll be starting public preschool in August, so we’re leaving in a few weeks. If it weren’t for our current financial situation and the distance from home, we’d definitely keep her there as long as possible. She struggles with transitions, new people, crowds, and noise, but she always comes home happy. The staff and administrators made us feel completely confident leaving her there, and we’re constantly amazed by what she shares with us about what she’s learned. We can’t recommend Shapes of Tomorrow enough—we will miss it so, so much!

  • We are moving out of state. Leaving SOTM is the hardest part of the transition. The owners care so much about both the student and teacher experience, as well as the broader parent community. Some highlights include: Healthy snacks, outdoor play is a priority, teachers are the best of the best (our daughter feels very safe and loved here), and lots of flexibility with scheduling. Our daughter comes part time, but random days we need coverage, SOTM has always let us pay a drop in fee. To those that don’t love the holiday schedule, think about it from the teachers’ POV. Don’t you want teachers to have a healthy work/life balance - just as you do? The owners are thoughtful about all of this and the price reflects the quality of care. I wish we could pick up this place and bring it to our next home. Thank you for everything SOTM. We will miss the incredible people that our daughter was fortunate to spend over 2 years with.

Questions parents ask about Shapes of Tomorrow Montessori Preschool

How many infants and toddlers can Shapes of Tomorrow Montessori Preschool take?

Colorado licenses Shapes of Tomorrow Montessori Preschool for 18 infants and 28 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near Shapes of Tomorrow Montessori Preschool?

Shapes of Tomorrow Montessori Preschool sits in the area covered by the Gateway Partnership for Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does Shapes of Tomorrow Montessori Preschool accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows Shapes of Tomorrow Montessori Preschool authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
