  • The owner, Todd Leopold, ripped a copy of billing paperwork out of my hands while I was requesting information about billing, access to the care information re: my children, and inquiring about his compliance with State Regulations & Requirements.

  • We love being part of the Small World family. 5 years in (between 2 kiddos) & it’s one of the best decisions we have made as parents. We know our kiddos are happy, loved, well fed, learning, interacting with other kiddos & adults, get outside time, & they get the freedom to be kids by dancing/giggling/singing. We love getting updates throughout the day via the app. The staff is the cherry on top, always helping us to accommodate when needed & keeping our kids safe. Small World has always given us a huge peace of mind and as 2 full time working parents, there’s nothing better.

  • Our family had three children attend Small World Learning Center all from infants through the PreK program (2014-2024). When we were looking for a center for our children it was important to us to find a family like atmosphere that would love our children when we were not able to be there and we found that. We always felt our children were safe and in a healthy atmosphere. Our children left Small World prepared for kindergarten academically, socially and emotionally and have been grateful we had the consistency of Small World for all that time! Definitely recommend.

  • I’ve had my two sons attending Small World Learning center for over 6 months now, and my experience has been fantastic, the educators there are very invested in the kids. There was one day I was picking up my son from the infant room and there were 2 teachers with 3 babies, (you only need one teacher with 3 children to meet state requirements) It turns out one of the teachers was not on the clock, she stayed late because she enjoys spending time with the children. That is the person I want taking care of my child. They also do a great job providing a variety of foods for the kids to eat, and can accommodate if your child has dietary restrictions. With my experience here, I would absolutely recommend sending your child here.

  • My family and I have been very pleased with Small World Learning Center ever since we found them. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers and often tells me with excitement about the many things they are learning. I've always appreciated the extended hours, creative activities, meal plans, patience and care they offer the kids.

  • My daughter has gone to Small World Learning Center since she was just 9 weeks old. I chose this center after touring quite a few of them. I really liked the family feel that this center offers and they stay open a little longer which is plus at times with work schedules. She has made so many strong connections with her teachers and classmates that she often doesn't want to leave. They make learning fun with so many different creative ideas and expose the kids to things I would never think of. It will be tough to leave this center when its time for my daughter to start regular school. They say it takes a village to raise a child, I am glad Small World Learning Center is part of mine.

Questions parents ask about Small World Learning Center

How many infants and toddlers can Small World Learning Center take?

Colorado licenses Small World Learning Center for 10 infants and 34 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near Small World Learning Center?

Small World Learning Center sits in the area covered by the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does Small World Learning Center accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows Small World Learning Center authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
