  • We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful care and love our son received at this Learning Center for over a year. From the very beginning, the entire team Shanika and Vanessa made us feel welcomed, supported, and confident that he was in great hands. We truly appreciate the dedication, patience, and kindness that every member of the staff showed our son specially Ms. Andrea. It means so much to us to know that he was cared for with such genuine love and attention. We couldn’t be happier with our experience, and we are extremely thankful to the entire team for everything they have done for our family. We highly recommend this Learning Center.

  • We came to this location after a sudden bad experience at La Petite Richfield and have been very happy with the staff here. They give us plenty of updates about our daughter and what she is learning for the day. There are lots of activities planned out in the curriculum, and the staff has been great at communicating with us and does a great job with the kids. Plus, they have an indoor gym for days when it’s too cold or if there's bad weather, so that the kids can play indoors! Our daughter really enjoys it there and tells us all about her friends and the activities that they do. We’ve been happy with them.

  • Love the teachers and atmosphere. I was nervous putting my son in daycare and they made us feel like family instantly which put me at ease. The care is affordable and my son enjoys going everyday! Pick here 💞 Their communication is very transparent too. Thank you guys for all of your hard work in helping establish a healthy beginning to my sons school career

  • I hate leaving negative reviews and so rarely do so. My child came here for a year and we had a normal amount of ups and downs over the year that we were comfortable navigating and we felt that she was always safe. This place just escalated to chaos over the last month and we had to leave. The director and assistant director both left at the same time with one week’s notice. Every time I went into the classroom for drop off or pick up there was a new teacher (that sounds like an exaggeration but it isn’t) which made me feel super uncomfortable from a trust perspective, I used to have relationships with everyone my daughter interacted with. We regularly received messages in the morning that there were staffing issues and we might not be able to leave our kids at drop off. The rooms were all combined due to staffing ratio issues, which then means MORE new faces and environments. The rooms were getting progressively dirtier and messier. The final straw was that my kid is potty training and 3 days in a row when I picked her up, she was wearing diapers that belong to some other kids, developing brutal diaper rash that had her crying for 2 days, when she shouldn’t be in diapers at all. I discussed repeatedly with her teachers and leadership, was assured it wouldn’t happen again each time. We called and let them know this was our final week after the 3rd and final diaper incident in a row. They might improve after all this craziness passes, but right now I do not recommend at all.

  • I am grateful for the whole Smoky Hill KinderCare team, this place is amazing! I was a very nervous parent who was not sure about putting my son in daycare when he first started. Jade took the time to walk me through process, answer all my questions, and took the time to ease my anxieties before he even started. Day one of my son starting Evelyn, Jade, and many amazing teachers welcomed us and showed my son what it is like to not only learn, but to have fun. Classrooms are structured, there are choices for each learner, and each adult takes the time to better each kid in front of them. As an educator myself, this is the only place I recommend.

  • I can’t begin to express how amazing the transition and experience has been for myself and son to this KinderCare. This daycare is on top of their daily communication, address needs/ concerns in a timely manner, and the teachers are outstanding. I feel my son gets the preschool education he needs while also being cared for. Both Jade and Evelyn run the best daycare and highly recommend this school.

Questions parents ask about Smoky Hill KinderCare

How many infants and toddlers can Smoky Hill KinderCare take?

Colorado licenses Smoky Hill KinderCare for 24 infants and 44 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near Smoky Hill KinderCare?

Smoky Hill KinderCare sits in the area covered by the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does Smoky Hill KinderCare accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows Smoky Hill KinderCare authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
