  • Our daughter has been attending STEM for the past 1.5 years, starting in the infant classroom at just 3 months old. As new parents, handing our baby over to someone else was daunting, but a few things made all the difference in helping us feel truly comfortable. First, we started her on a part-time schedule, which was such a gentle way to ease into daycare—for her and for us. It gave our whole family time to adjust, build trust with her teachers, and see firsthand how well she was cared for before transitioning to full time. The daily routines have also been a huge source of comfort. Knowing she has consistent, predictable days filled with engaging activities, meals, and rest gives us so much peace of mind. She thrives on that structure, and we can see how much she enjoys her teachers, the other children, and everything they do together each day. Finally, the communication is outstanding. Her teachers keep us updated on her days constantly, and we love how often we receive photos and videos of her in action. Even when we're apart, we never feel out of the loop. I could not recommend a daycare more!

  • Such an amazing place!!! Clean and very attentive to the needs of kids. My wife and I had no clue what our little needed until she began to go here! Hands on learning and lots of activities. The staff and teachers are awesome! I truly enjoy the constant updates and videos and descriptions of the activities and what they are learning that day. Communication is by far the best I have had with child care.

  • We absolutely love S.T.E.M childcare! The staff is incredible! They are kind, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth and happiness. Since attending, our daughter has excelled academically and continues to amaze us with how much she has learned. She adores her teachers and talks about them with so much love and excitement. One of our favorite things is seeing how much she enjoys her friends and the wonderful relationships she’s built. We are so grateful for the caring environment and highly recommend S.T.E.M childcare to any family looking for a place where their child can thrive!

  • We are a new family entering STEM this fall. The tour was great and the events to welcome new families and students has been really fun. The staff knows us by name and we are excited to be apart of the community. We hope for a positive experience as our son loves technology.

  • Our daughter attended Stem Child care for close to two years now. The staff has been amazing. The communication is top notch and we always love hearing about what our kiddo was up to throughout the day. We really appreciate all the activities and learning they provide and our daughter was always happy to be there.

  • My boys started attending STEM in 2022 and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful school. My oldest, who is now in elementary school, loved his time and was very prepared for kindergarten. My youngest will start Kindergarten in the fall and I know he will also be set up for success. One of the things I have loved most about STEM is that they are a family-owned center. The owners are always present and Ashlyn is so warm and friendly and will take the time to answer your questions. They also take pride in ensuring the center is clean and sanitized, my children hardly got sick in the 4 years we attended. The teachers have been wonderful; Ms Lisa, Ms Sarah, Ms Mya and Ms Kathy are just a few of the teachers who create a learning environment that is safe, loving and fun. All of the teachers that have been at STEM over the years were great. STEM also provides healthy meals (breakfast until a certain time, lunch and snack) made by Ms Kelly who is a great chef and cares about what goes on your child's plate. We have been so happy with our time at STEM. The location is ideal, it is safe and not to mention the kiddos get the best mountain view when they play outside!

Questions parents ask about STEM Child Care, Inc.

How many infants and toddlers can STEM Child Care, Inc. take?

Colorado licenses STEM Child Care, Inc. for 20 infants and 41 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near STEM Child Care, Inc.?

STEM Child Care, Inc. sits in the area covered by the Douglas County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does STEM Child Care, Inc. accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows STEM Child Care, Inc. authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
