We were lucky enough to be with Stepping Stones for 3 years and my child would not be where he is today without them! I can’t say enough good things about this school and the prep they do for the kid before entering kindergarten. The teacher to kid ratio is amazing and they truly listen to each kid and meet them where they are both emotionally and educationally
Jocelyn SparksApr 17, 2026Our experience with SSAP has been nothing short of amazing! Ms. Nicole, Ms. Li, Ms. Suzie, and really all of the teachers are incredible. They have done an amazing job at creating an environment for all families to feel welcome. They are involved with knowing each student well and their families. It makes me feel good dropping my daughter off with teachers I know care about her and her friends. Finding SSAP lessened my anxieties of sending my oldest to school for the first time. I know her teachers will communicate anything they notice and help me find resources wherever we need. We love SSAP and love being apart of their community!
Taryn LindApr 1, 2026We have had such a wonderful experience at Stepping Stones Adventure Preschool, and I cannot say enough positive things about this school. My son started attending in October 2025 in the Owls classroom, and from day one we have felt so supported, welcomed, and confident that he is truly cared for. The teachers are incredible — attentive, nurturing, and deeply knowledgeable. Ms. Gina, Ms. Nicole, Ms. Heather, and Ms. Connie each bring such warmth, experience, and intention to their classrooms. It is clear how much thought and care goes into the curriculum, which is both engaging and developmentally appropriate. The play-based approach, small class sizes, and consistent structure create an environment where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. What stands out most is the strong sense of community. Stepping Stones genuinely feels like a family. The teachers take the time to know each child as an individual and communicate thoughtfully with parents, which has made such a difference for us. Our son has a speech delay, and since starting at Stepping Stones, we have seen remarkable growth. He is saying so many new words, engaging more with peers, and absolutely loves going to school. Seeing his confidence and joy increase has been incredibly meaningful for our family. In addition to the exceptional care and education, Stepping Stones offers **excellent value**. The pricing feels very fair for the level of attention, experience, and quality of programming provided, which can be hard to find. We truly feel we are getting so much more than we ever expected. We are incredibly grateful for the nurturing, supportive environment Stepping Stones provides and feel lucky to be part of this community. I would wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any family looking for a loving, high-quality early childhood program.
Madeleine KoppenhoferJan 17, 2026I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Stepping Stone Adventure Preschool. It feels like we hit the jackpot when we found this incredible program for our son. He has been attending since he was 2 ½ years old, and the growth, joy, and learning we’ve seen in him have been nothing short of remarkable. From the very beginning, it was clear that Gina and Nicole—the founders—poured their hearts into creating a program that is not only safe and nurturing but also overflowing with love, imagination, and play. Their vision has attracted a team of exceptional teachers, each bringing years of experience and a deep passion for early childhood education. You can tell every person there wants to be there, and it shows in everything they do. One of the things we love most is how children are allowed to truly be children—exploring, playing, and learning in a way that feels natural and joyful. It’s a place where curiosity is celebrated and every little milestone is met with encouragement and excitement. As a parent, there’s no greater comfort than knowing your child is not only safe but genuinely loved. That’s exactly how I feel every time I drop him off. The sense of community they’ve built is extraordinary—everyone feels like family, and that kind of environment is so rare and special. Every child deserves a place like this. We are endlessly grateful to be part of the Stepping Stone family.
Erin FordApr 3, 2025I can't begin to describe how much we love this school. My daughter absolutely blossomed during her time at SSAP. We started her for a few months at age 3 and she was very shy to start - Ms. Nicole was amazing at making her feel comfortable in her class! This past year when she was 4 she was in Ms. Abby's class, and the kid I dropped off the first day of school was not the kid I picked up on the last day. She flourished socially, emotionally, and academically in Ms. Abby's class and she is well-prepared for kindergarten. Ms. Abby is such a kind and thoughtful teacher, and my daughter ADORED her. I love how much time the kids spend outdoors - it fostered my daughter's love for playing outside. SSAP is also so good at teaching kids in a fun, approachable way and my daughter could not wait to come to school every morning. We love SSAP!!
Christina GloorJun 25, 2024Stepping Stones has been an amazing community for our young family and we are so grateful to Ms. Gina & Ms. Nicole for the inviting space they have created. Inclusivity, creativity and love for nature and play in all seasons are daily values. It’s amazing to watch the kids do creative play in snow and not complain about being cold because they’re having too much fun. We love the student/teacher ratios and specials like music, yoga & Spanish lessons. This is more than a preschool, it’s a place where families can lean on each other in the early years and grow their village. Our daughter is well prepared for kindergarten socially/emotionally and academically. Our second kiddo couldn’t wait for her turn to start when she turned 2.5 so we look forward to more years of adventures at Stepping Stones.
