Sunflower Montessori School

My niece went here for a couple of years and we followed her. The attention and care each student receives from the staff is phenomenal. My daughter has been attending since she was just shy of 3. She will be attending Kindergarten in the fall and thanks to her teachers she is already learning how to read. She loves to go to school here! I cannot say enough about the school and especially her teacher.

We've had a great experience with our daughter here after pulling her out of her previous daycare (where the turnover was incredibly high). She now looks forward to going to daycare and LOVES Ms. H. She's engaged, learning, and having fun with crafts. The staff is very kind and we've enjoyed bringing our daughter here.

Both of my boys attended Sunflower Montessori, and we had a truly wonderful experience with all of their teachers. We were there during the transition to the new director, and the staff worked hard to make the school feel beautiful, welcoming, and well cared for. The environment is clean, the classrooms are thoughtfully prepared, and there is a clear focus on supporting the whole child. Both of my boys had Ms. Mushatt, and she was exceptional. When one of my sons was struggling with potty training, she had so many tools and strategies to support him both at school and at home. She met with us to create a plan and worked closely with our family to help him succeed. Her dedication, patience, and expertise made such a difference. They truly prepared my boys for elementary school. Sunflower Montessori feels like a school, not a daycare. We loved our experience so much that we recommended it to our neighbors, who now attend and are just as happy with their decision. We would absolutely recommend Sunflower Montessori to any family.

After six months, we are thrilled with Sunflower Montessori. The staff provides the calm, structured, and loving environment our energetic 3-year-old needed to thrive. Their focus on fostering confidence, independence, and social-emotional growth has been excellent. The director ensures the children are the top priority, making us confident that our son is safe and happy while we work. We are proud to be a Sunflower family.

Our son started at Sunflower when he turned 1 and he’s now a little over 2. We’ve had an extremely positive experience - the director Sangeeta is warm, approachable and always available (and receptive to any feedback we’ve provided). We can tell the teachers genuinely care about our son. When it came time for him to transition from Toddler 1 classroom to Toddler 2, they provided extra support to ensure he was set up for success. He loves school, spending a significant portion of the day outside, and is always coming home with fun arts and crafts. We highly recommend Sunflower!
