Our son has been at the Beehive since he was 5 months old, and has transitioned up through 3 classrooms. The teachers and admins are phenomenal — they are 100% on our team to support developmental stages, transitions, or just tough days for our kid, as well as my own anxieties. Even with the itty bitties, the teachers create appropriate structure and plan fun learning activities, crafts, and ways for kids to engage with teachers and each other. Best of all, my son clearly feels safe, connected, and engaged—at pick up, he wants to show me all the things he did that day and say bye to all his friends together. I can not imagine parenting without the Beehive, and it was a complete no-brainer to jump on the waitlist the second we knew we were expecting #2.
Karen McClellanSep 3, 2024The Beehive is just a great pre-school. The staff really care about the culture and the kids, always communicate regularly and make us feel welcome. Our daughter wouldn't be who she is without the teachers and staff at the Beehive. Thank you!
Juan Pablo ParodiSep 3, 2024The Beehive has been such a great childcare experience for our family. My wife and I toured many other places and agreed that the Beehive was far and away our top choice. My daughter has been going there since she was about 4 months old and has transitioned from the infant rooms to the toddler room. The teachers are SO caring and have been flexible in finding a good balance between adapting to our daughter’s needs and helping her integrate into the environment around her. Every time we drop off or pick up the teachers are interacting and playing and involving the kids in activities and always plan fun things for them to do and learn each day. In addition, the leadership staff get to know all of the kids and are frequently present in the classrooms helping out and are always in the know about what’s going on. The whole feel of the Beehive is so positive and fun, and everyone there obviously loves working with kids. My daughter has learned so much from daycare and it was been an overall really positive experience for her.
Rose BrooksAug 20, 2024The love and care our daughter has received at the Beehive over the last two years is truly unparalleled. As she’s transitioned through different classrooms, each one has been warm, welcoming, and communicative. Our daughter is happy to be there every day, and that means everything to us as parents. The Beehive has had a profound impact on our family, and the built in trust and community at the Beehive would be difficult to replicate. It is a family to us!
Sara PrimusAug 13, 2024It is hard to put into words what a special place the beehive is. We've sent my daughter here for the last 3+ years and our experience has been unparalleled. Every classroom has been warm, welcoming, communicative, and loving. Now that she is in preschool, I am blown away by the love of learning they've instilled in her at such a young age. Beehive staff and teachers make all of the difference...they have treated my daughter like their own and I know many other parents feels the same. Every parent deserves to feel confident in the care their child gets when they are at daycare and the beehive has given me and countless others that gift. I cannot recommend the beehive enough!
Kelsey SchmidtAug 12, 2024The Beehive has been such a blessing for my family!!! The admin team are incredibly warm and welcoming, and each teacher my child has had has been absolutely wonderful. From day one, they have shown my daughter so much love and kindness and now that she is in preschool, we are noticing how much she is learning to get ready for Kindergarten! They also do a wonderful job hosting events and creating a loving community of children, parents & educators, . THANK YOU BEEHIVE, we love you!

Questions parents ask about The Beehive
How many infants and toddlers can The Beehive take?
- Colorado licenses The Beehive for 20 infants and 23 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near The Beehive?
- The Beehive sits in the area covered by the Denver's Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Denver's ECC. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does The Beehive accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- The state record does not show The Beehive authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation is county-administered and can change, so confirm with the provider and your county office.
