We spent over 5 years with our 2 boys going to LTA and can’t say enough great things about the teachers, admin and total staff there. They care for every kid like their own. The teachers make sure they have fun, learn and learn important values. Can’t say enough about LTA.
Andrew GoltermannJul 2, 2026Our family had the best experience over 4 years. I can’t say enough about the caring nature of the staff and positive education my kids received. They were more than ready for kindergarten (confidence, academics, social/ emotional).
Director Candace HolteApr 16, 2026Our son had been going to Lawton-Taylor Academy for the the past five years until he graduated from kindergarten last summer. We can't say enough about how great the entire experience had been. All the teachers and the front office staff, Mr. Michael, Ms. Angie and Ms. Brianna were simply wonderful people. They were always kind and accommodating. The teachers and staff at LTA truly cared about the kids and their family. The classes were carefully grouped according to the kid's developmental stages. There were always fun daily activities including arts, music, dance, story telling, magic shows, sports, show-n-share, and movie and PJ days. Our son was never ready to leave when it was time to pick him up! The feeling was bittersweet when it came time to move on... We wish to give a heartfelt thank you to all the teachers and staff at Lawton-Taylor Academy!
Kathleen YoungSep 8, 2025We loved our 5 years at LTA and were so sad to eventually leave! The staff was wonderful at all stages. 2 years in, we moved and commuted there because we liked it so much. We toured other centers over the years and never felt they stacked up. The front office staff (Michael and Angie) were always so welcoming and helpful. We would recommend this daycare to anyone!
Alyssa PanzarinoAug 14, 2025We’ve been part of the LTA family for the past five years, and saying goodbye is so much harder than we expected. This place has been so much more than a daycare—it’s been the backdrop to some of the most meaningful moments of our early parenting journey. Both of our girls took their very first steps inside these walls, surrounded by loving, expert caregivers who treated our kids like their own. The staff and teachers at LTA are truly something special. They’re warm, caring, fun, consistent, and absolutely dedicated to what they do. There’s clearly a strong leadership culture here that attracts and retains amazing people—people who want to be here, and it shows in every interaction. We’ve always felt supported, heard, and seen—not just our kids, but us as parents, too. The community here helped us learn how to be parents in those early years, offering encouragement when we needed it most and celebrating with us through all the milestones. We’re only moving on because our oldest is starting kindergarten, and we needed something closer to home for both kids. But if LTA ever opens a location closer to home, we’ll be first in line. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re considering LTA—don’t hesitate. It’s the kind of place that truly becomes part of your family.
Katie FredrickAug 7, 2025Lawton-Taylor is amazing! The staff is the best and will go above and beyond to ensure your kiddo feels safe and is taken care of. Angie and Mr. Michael are super compassionate and go out their way to ensure every family has their needs met. My son was in preschool plus- he loved his teachers and activities.

Questions parents ask about THE LAWTON-TAYLOR ACADEMY
How many infants and toddlers can THE LAWTON-TAYLOR ACADEMY take?
- Colorado licenses THE LAWTON-TAYLOR ACADEMY for 20 infants and 34 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near THE LAWTON-TAYLOR ACADEMY?
- THE LAWTON-TAYLOR ACADEMY sits in the area covered by the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does THE LAWTON-TAYLOR ACADEMY accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- The state record does not show THE LAWTON-TAYLOR ACADEMY authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation is county-administered and can change, so confirm with the provider and your county office.
