We’ve been with The Learning Nest for four years now. All three of our kiddos have had a very positive and caring relationship with staff. Very intentional leadership and we’ve always felt safe and cared for as a family.
Kyle BrillDec 11, 2025Our two daughters go to learning nest and we could not be happier with the experience. The teachers take great care of our children, and we love how it’s a small school so they (and we) know all the teachers and kids, not just the ones in their room. We’re grateful to be a part of the community!
Ellen NazarenusDec 11, 2025We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Learning Nest. It has been and continues to be the most special place for our 3 babies and our family. Our oldest daughter started at TLN when she was 8 months old and was there until she started DPS ECE at 4 years old. Our 2 year old son is in Toddler 2 there currently and our 7 month old baby girl just started in the Infant room this month. Every single teacher cares so much about each kid and they are so intentional in each classroom as they fill the days with creative projects, art, sensory activities, outside time, music/dance, stories and more. Marissa and Sherri have been so wonderful, organized and communicative with us, we cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for our family. All of our kids come home happy from TLN every day and are excited to go back the next day. It is truly the most wonderful daycare/school you could find.
Linsey BrillDec 9, 2025We LOVE The Learning Nest and would absolutely recommend. Our daughter has been with them for almost a year, started at about 7 months. The teachers are all incredible, kind and attentive. I love hearing several different teachers even from other classrooms saying hi or goodbye using her name. The small size (only 4 classrooms) makes this possible too. The rooms are clean and cute, the outdoor play area is great. Marissa and Sherri are wonderful as owner and director. My daughter is happy every day at drop off and every day at pick up. Could not ask for more :)
Katherine SmithJan 30, 2025The Learning Nest in Denver has been an excellent place for our son. He’s been there for a year now, starting in the infant room, and more recently in the toddler room. He really loves his teachers there. His teachers, including Caitlynn and Stephanie, go out of their way to really help the kids grow and make them happy. He really loves them and you can tell how much they care about him too. He has learned so much during his time there with the help of the teachers - sitting in a chair by himself to eat lunch, sleeping on a mat without crawling away, and even hand gestures like waving and clapping. These may seem like small things, but they’re so exciting to see. The facility is very nice, with plenty of room for the kids and a great outdoor space they use as much as possible. Our son is really happy there. 5 stars—would highly recommend!
Jim Allen WallaceJan 28, 2025Our son has been at TLN since he was 12 weeks old and we all love it so much. He is now two and a half and has spent time in the infant room, toddler 1 and is now in the toddler 2 class. Each classroom has impressed us with the cleanliness, wonderful staff and thoughtful curriculum. Our toddler comes home happy and tired and we are amazed by how much he learns at school. Pricing seems to be right on par for the area, location is convenient and building is clean and well maintained. Only three designated parking spots, but it’s never really an issue for us as everyone is in and out of those spots quickly. We highly recommend TLN!

Questions parents ask about The Learning Nest
How many infants and toddlers can The Learning Nest take?
- Colorado licenses The Learning Nest for 10 infants and 22 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.
Who can help me find child care near The Learning Nest?
- The Learning Nest sits in the area covered by the Denver's Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Denver's ECC. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.
Does The Learning Nest accept CCCAP child care assistance?
- The state record does not show The Learning Nest authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation is county-administered and can change, so confirm with the provider and your county office.
