The Nest Schools, Highlands Ranch

I have a niece that goes to The Nest School in Highlands Ranch. I was impressed by the security procedures they do in order to pick up my niece. I now feel that my niece is in safe hands. The school is so beautiful and it’s so clean. I’ve walked through some other schools and you know that you’re in a facility with children. But I was impressed how the school smelled and how clean the school is. The management is so nice and friendly. The teachers are amazing. Every time now that I pick up my niece from school she’s always happy and tells me what a great day she had with her friends and teachers. I’ll be telling my friends and family that have kids to tour at The Nest School in Highlands Ranch area. I’m truly happy.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this childcare center. From what I observed, the classrooms are consistently overcrowded, and the facility often appears understaffed. The result is an environment that places unnecessary stress on both the children and the teachers who are trying their best to provide quality care. One of the most concerning issues is the treatment of staff. Teachers frequently do not receive proper breaks or lunch periods, leaving them exhausted and burned out. Employee turnover is incredibly high, with caregivers seemingly leaving or being pushed out after only a few months due to excessive pressure and poor management practices. Parents trust childcare providers with their most valuable responsibility—their children. That trust requires integrity, professionalism, and a supportive environment for both children and staff. Unfortunately, this center falls far short of those expectations. For the sake of your children and your investment, I would recommend exploring other childcare options. This facility is a disappointment and does not reflect the standards that families in Highlands Ranch deserve. ARYAN R.

I am so thankful for The Nest! It is difficult to drop a new baby off at daycare, and they have been supportive since the minute we stepped through the door. My son now claps and waves when we walk through the door, waiting to see his teachers! They have been such a source of love and stability in his first year of life. We receive pictures and updates all day long, and the facility is clean + well-maintained. Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Falesha, who are the Director and AD, are wonderful, communicative, and have taken care to know my family individually. If you are looking for a place you can trust your child with, I absolutely endorse The Nest Highlands Ranch!!

Our child has attended the Nest for 9months+ and we have really enjoyed it! Our little one comes home knowing new things almost every day and the teachers all know my baby by name. The director, Carolyn, really seems to run a tight ship. They have worked with us for every scheduling conflict (i.e. swim lessons, therapies, etc) and are always happy to accommodate us. Based on the reviews on the past, I think it's obvious the Nest company has made some amazing changes to the HRLC. We look forward to watching our toddler grow into a preschooler here and are glad we have their flexible and kind services close by.

We’ve had our 8-month-old enrolled at The Nest for the past four months, and it has truly been a delight. The school is incredibly clean and well-maintained, and every teacher we’ve interacted with has been genuinely kind and caring. They take such wonderful care of our daughter and consistently engage with her in meaningful ways. The curriculum is fantastic, and it’s clear how much she enjoys her time there—she absolutely loves going to school and adores her teachers. The communication is outstanding; we receive regular updates and photos throughout the day, which brings us so much peace of mind. The entire staff, including the Assistant Director and Director, are exceptional. We feel so fortunate to have found The Nest and couldn’t recommend it more highly to other families!
