  • The Owl Academy was such a lifesaver for us! They took such great loving care of our boys. Not only that, the owner and director were always so kind and attentive to our needs and changes as my work situation changed, etc. My boys always had fun there and really loved to enjoy so much outdoor time and messy explorative play!!

  • My child has been in the Nestlings room for 4 months now and it has been a fantastic experience. All of the staff have been amazing, communicative, helpful, and best of all you can really tell they care about all the kiddos. Miss Betty and Mr Taylor create a special place for all the infants to discover and grow. We love the emphasis on outdoor time and free exploration. The best part is that The Owl Academy has grown my own village and helps me feel connected to a community as a new parent. We are so grateful our child will grow alongside the Owl Academy!

  • My child is currently enrolled in the infant classroom and it has been an amazing experience. The kids have a lot of enrichment activities, as parents were get frequent updates. The teachers in the classroom are attentive, engaged, warm, welcoming, and I feel so comfortable with them.

  • We have been at TOA since September and have been SO pleased with the infant classroom! Our daughter adores Ms Betty and has really started to socialize with the other babies which is so wonderful to see. Finding a daycare is a nerve wracking process, but from the first day felt at ease during the tour with Andrea and Virginia. I am intentional in supporting family owned businesses and you can really see the difference in how much the staff cares versus what I saw/felt at other corporate owned daycares. The two things that really have stood out to me have been the outside time the kiddos get (daily if weather permits!) and community events that the daycare puts on. From mom workout classes to charcuterie chats it has been nice to find some of the “village” I am missing as I do not have a lot of family support. My husband was initially against the idea of daycare at all, but after a couple months at TOA he was the one to request us going from 2 to 3 days a week. I recommend TOA to anyone that asks me about daycare.

  • Wonderful experience for our kiddo’s first school and care! She loves Ms. Mickey and Ms. Lexi, all the wonderful outdoor exploration and play, and the focus on fostering relationships in her mixed-age, lower ratio room! Virginia, the director’s philosophy aligns closely with mine, (I taught early childhood education at University of Michigan for almost 5 years), and all staff, including Andrea, the owner, have made her transition so much easier as she needed a little extra love and support getting used to being away from home for the first time. If you're looking for quality care around Littleton, don’t miss this place.

  • My grandson started at the Owl Academy a couple months ago and I have to say it has been amazing!!! He never wanted to go to his previous daycare and now he loves going! They do a wonderful job with all the kids and are constantly sending pictures of the activities that they are doing. Highly recommend the Owl Academy to anyone with little kids!💕

Questions parents ask about The Owl Academy

How many infants and toddlers can The Owl Academy take?

Colorado licenses The Owl Academy for 14 infants and 17 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near The Owl Academy?

The Owl Academy sits in the area covered by the Gateway Partnership for Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does The Owl Academy accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows The Owl Academy authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
