  • I am impressed by my child's progress over the couple of years. The office staff has been instrumental in supporting my family since our initial introduction to the school. Most staff members have facilitated a seamless transition, fostering a positive environment. They dedicate time to teaching and guiding children in achieving their milestones. Overall, this institution provides an ideal setting for children to thrive among like-minded peers.

  • The teachers are wonderful, and there is a big outdoor space which is great, and when we first started attending this school I couldn't say enough good things about it under the leadership at that time. However. The current leadership is unfortunate, inexperienced, and unprofessional. The Director and Assistant Directors were unsupportive of my family directly and were very manipulative and two-faced in how they handled the situation with us personally. They threw other staff under the bus when confronted about mishandling the situation. I have since heard stories that are of concern about how they are conducting things that seem to only reiterate poor leadership and compelled me to write this review. I don't trust the current leadership, the high tuition rate that they keep raising, the consistent billing issues, the lack of support for the teachers and any students that aren't following "marching orders". They don't want to be bothered with handling kids who need more care or support.

  • We have loved this day care! Our daughter went through all 4 years at the center and every class was fantastic. The teachers, helpers and front desk staff are all friendly, smart and reliable - I always felt like our baby was in the best hands. She’s made the sweetest friends and was always so happy to go to day care! Playground is also huge, they have a swimming pool, and offer sign up for lessons like gymnastics and soccer. This made my life easier as I didn’t have to take my own time to get her to lessons. We will miss this center SO MUCH. They really prepared our girl for elementary school!

  • We love this day care! I have two children who attend and they can't wait to go to "school" each day. They have a swimming pool so kids can swim in the summer (yes, with lifeguards even!). And the amazing playground is HUGE. To top it off, they provide all snacks and hot lunches. I could not be more thrilled. The school Administrator Sarah is wonderful and made our transition so easy. Karen and Casey at the front are awesome as well.

  • This place has it all! Lots of extracurricular activities, a pool, great playground, lots of open space, located in a safe area but convenient to get to. All the staff have been wonderful and my kids have loved attending there and have formed close bonds with many of the staff. They have a parent's night out on Fridays once a month, and they have lots of staff who are willing to babysit outside of school hours. Curriculum is great, too, and we love the smaller classroom sizes for the preschool, pre-K, and Kinder classes. They have before and after school care and will drop off and pick up at several nearby public schools. Couldn't be happier!

  • We have had two children attend The Village Child Development Center, and plan to have our youngest child attend when she is older, because of the wonderful experiences we had there. Our children were genuinely cared for and loved by the teachers and staff at The Village. I felt our children gained a great deal of learning opportunities that prepared them for the next step in their academic career. The qualified teachers and staff at The Village were friendly and most importantly loving with our children, and it showed with the interactions we witnessed between the teachers and children. We would recommend The Village to anyone looking for a high quality, safe and caring child development center.

Questions parents ask about THE VILLAGE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CTR

How many infants and toddlers can THE VILLAGE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CTR take?

Colorado licenses THE VILLAGE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CTR for 20 toddlers. These are the bands the state publishes separately and they do not add up to the licence total, so treat each as its own ceiling. A licensed place is not the same as an open place, so ask about current availability.

Who can help me find child care near THE VILLAGE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CTR?

THE VILLAGE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CTR sits in the area covered by the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Child Care Innovations. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does THE VILLAGE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CTR accept CCCAP child care assistance?

The state record does not show THE VILLAGE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CTR authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation is county-administered and can change, so confirm with the provider and your county office.
