Liz WilmersSep 19, 2023Our son attended two years of preschool at Thorne, and it was one of the greatest experiences of his young life. In fact, when he went to kindergarten, he spent several weeks asking to go back to Nature School. The teachers, the volunteers, the field trips, the constant exposure to nature and the outdoors were all exactly what he needed. We are huge believers in what Thorne is providing!

Fundamental Goodness. In hindsight we would have kept him in it for another year and gone to public school later.
Marcus PermanSep 18, 2023We are so lucky to have Thorne Nature School in our community. My son is on his second year with them and is thriving. He comes home dirty, exhausted, and extremely happy. Playing in nature without the confinement of walls is so beneficial especially at a young age and it has done wonders for our kiddo emotionally and physically. Highly recommend.

The small class size, low teacher to student ratio and the freedom to play without walls in the fresh air, get dirty and explore the natural world allowed our daughter to feel safe, curious and connected. She was also able to grow her confidence and gain greater independence and mindfulness. We cannot recommend this program enough to all our friends with little ones exploring preschool programs!

Immersive time in nature with caring teachers supports health, emotional wellness, learning and deep nature connection. This preschool is the best gift you can give your young child and I highly recommend!
