I started taking my 4.5 year there a few months ago. Prior to here he was attending a Montessori school and then nothing, he was going to a home school and he used to be really anxious and would not let me leave. The drop was hard for both us because of this and this has been at every school. After about a week and a half my son started going right in and playing. He seems less anxious, more calm and enjoys school. Drop off is only prolonged after he has been home with me for an extended period of time, but then he goes right in and plays. I love the open space, the variety of items to play and the play based curriculum. I love that they incorporate nature, the arts and music and they have space for boys to be boys and tumble around and move their bodies instead of expecting them to sit for long periods of time. They promote independence and encourage team work. I really like this preschool. The staff is amazing, friendly, kind and they do whatever they can to help their parents and students.
Nicol MartinezMar 28, 2026My daughter started here this past fall and they’ve been so wonderful! All the kiddos get along, they have indoor AND outdoor activities daily, a lovely little played and are play based and art based. My daughter gets hands on music activities weekly, songs and dances daily and they have a wonderful fuk test time in the afternoon as well. We’ve made family friends and my daughter has grown as a little person and as an individual!! I feel blessed we found this school with so much to offer. I only wish we found it sooner! And they accept universal pre-k!
RoseMar 28, 2026This is such great school. My son loves coming here, I am so grateful that we found this great school. The teachers are so kind and amazing. Michelle, the director also very kind woman. My son, Dior, just turned 5. But he has had trouble in other schools and day cares, he would never want to go and would throw tantrums that he didn’t want to go to school but ever since he has come to United Hearts he loves it. He’s happier and he begs me to go to school. He likes the teachers too especially Michelle and Anaj. All I can say I am so grateful to have found this school and that my son finally feels happy. Thank you so much United Hearts and Michelle.
grace madrigalMar 28, 2026Great - but I don’t think it’s appropriate for United Hearts Community School staff to tell my 5 year old daughter that she doesn’t need to help her developmentally delayed brother. We try to teach our kids to be helpful, courteous, kind, considerate, etc. Zero stars.
Jack SunMar 26, 2026United Hearts is absolutely amazing! I honestly can't decide where to begin, there are so many positive things to say. First, as any parent in this city knows, finding consistent, safe, and affordable childcare is like finding a unicorn. Well, the minute my kids were old enough for United Hearts, this was the place for them. Our two girls can't wait to run through the door every morning, and sometimes even cry when they have to leave! They come home asking to practice their letters and write their names, and the art they have created is astounding for their age. The nature, music, and art-based approach is perfect for getting kids outside, becoming comfortable in their bodies, learning to be creative, and so much more. They also have the kindest teachers, and it's incredible to walk in to a dozen or more kids just playing calmly and finding the things that make them excited and happy that day. We love everything about United Hearts!
Brittany MacdonaldNov 14, 2025We are fairly new to the area and this year was my daughter’s first time being in preschool. She absolutely loves United Hearts. She’s made a ton of friends, I can tell she’s progressing with her academic knowledge and for her creative spirit- the art and music influence of the school lights her up! After each weekend she’s so excited she gets to go back on Monday! I highly recommend this school to anyone with preschool age children!
