  • I was very confused about the membership costs and I'm still very confused but going get a membership somewhere else so thank you for being rude for no reason, I definitely don't want to join now 😂😂 I talked to Christy at the front desk and she was very rude and seemed like I was bothering her with my questions. She didn't explain the joining fee or what simply rate means. Why do terrible human beings work in customer service if they hate people so much I don't get it. Go get a new job if you hate your job!!

  • I was unsure of how the Child Watch runs and operates. I felt like I had a lot of concerns. I did not feel happy in the place and felt bad for all the kids left there from their parents. I am angry at the parents I guess Idk. They had about 20 kids or more in there and the ladies in there had a hard time maintaining and watching all the kids. The workers there seemed intimidating to talk to or interact with to be honest. I thought the jungle gym area would have been big enough like a playground so everyone had room to run around without being toppled or close to each other. I hope the YMCA considers on expanding this area and hiring more people in the jungle gym area. I have yet to check out the other services in the YMCA. I will update my review once I use all the services. I may look into other things my toddler and I can do together instead of being apart.

  • I would rate it higher but the open times are not the greatest. Especially on the weekends . Pool hours and gym hours on the weekends need to change and the child care . But great place great equipment and amazing staff. But not very convenient for someone that works for a living and has a family.

  • Clean facility with a good variety of equipment and programs. Staff is welcoming, and it feels like a true community space. Whether you’re there for a workout or activities, it’s a great resource to have in Pueblo.

  • My family and I absolutely love going to the YMCA. We’ve met so many amazing people and built some truly great friendships along the way. We’re forever grateful for this community. The staff has also been incredibly helpful with everything—we appreciate you all so much! A special thank you to Isabella, who has been so helpful and truly the sweetest. Rowan has also been amazing, and Josh, the swim instructor, has been awesome as well. And I forgot to include the awesome after school program / summer camp team! We’re so grateful for each of you! ❤️

  • The therapy pool is supposed to be for adults and children UNDER eight years old on Friday nights from 5:00-7:30pm. It has turned into a free-for-all. Kids and teens over eight are jumping in and out of the pool and rough housing, yelling and plugging the pool nozzles to make the water spray to the ceiling lights. The pool has not been therapeutic for me (an adult) and my four year old daughter, with autism, that normally enjoys the low stimulation setting of the therapy pool vs. the normal pool. The lifeguards need to do a better job of enforcing the rules and age restrictions.

Questions parents ask about YMCA OF PUEBLO

Who can help me find child care near YMCA OF PUEBLO?

YMCA OF PUEBLO sits in the area covered by the Pueblo Early Childhood Council and the referral agency Childrens First. Colorado funds these bodies to help families find and pay for care locally, and they can answer questions about openings and cost that a licence record cannot.

Does YMCA OF PUEBLO accept CCCAP child care assistance?

Yes. The state record shows YMCA OF PUEBLO authorised for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program. Authorisation means the provider can accept CCCAP families, not that it has a funded place open now, so ask before you apply.
