  • They don’t show their true colors until later on. I couldn’t wait for my son to start daycare, especially with them being new and just a couple of blocks away from our home. When he first started, everything Was going great. Everything started to change when The center started bringing in new teachers, which they don’t introduce you too by the way, You just arrived and its someone new is in your child’s classroom. I feel as though they will call my son by the wrong name on purpose and I say on purpose because it’s been Multiple times I’ve been up to the school just for this one reason alone. I even gave them a nickname and they were still change my baby name and call him what they wanted to call him. He will come home or sometimes on our walk home In a sad voice, he will say mommy my teacher called me yesterday and I told him that’s not my name. My name is ………. My son is only three. I’m glad he can stick up for herself, but he shouldn’t have to correct his teacher. The straw that broke the camels back was graduation. Everyone knows my son wants to be a police officer when he grows up. He tells me that all the time. His teacher thought it would be funny to put on his graduation poster that he wanted to be a OGRE they put Shrek on my son’s poster as what he wanted to be when he get older and my son does not watch Shrek at all. All the stuff members just thought it was funny. I really wanted to handle it a different way, but that wouldn’t got me nowhere but taking away from my kids.
