  • We enrolled our son at ECLC when he was just 6 months old and couldn't be happier with our decision. Now that he's turned one, we can truly reflect on what a wonderful experience it has been. What sets ECLC apart is their genuine responsiveness to individual children's needs. As first-time parents navigating sleep schedules and feeding transitions, the teachers were always patient, communicative, and willing to work with us every step of the way. They have also been wonderfully accommodating of our part-time schedule, which has made a real difference for our family. We also deeply appreciate their commitment to the Reggio Emilia approach and the weekly syllabus, which keeps us engaged and connected to what our son is learning each week. Most importantly, our little one is thriving and we credit the warm, attentive teachers at ECLC for playing a huge role in that. We wholeheartedly recommend ECLC to any family looking for a nurturing and thoughtfully structured environment for their child. 🤍

  • I can't say enough positive things about this daycare - they create such a caring, flexible, and fun environment that made the transition to daycare for our 6 month old incredibly smooth.

  • Wonderful daycare with caring, attentive staff! Erica is a great director, very compassionate. The whole center is very dedicated to holistic learning and wellness for each child, and they follow each child’s individual needs. As first time parents, we had lots of questions, but the staff were always caring, patient, and happy to meet our needs. Would recommend!

  • We love ECLC - our child attends school here and he LOVES it - he is constantly talking about going to school, seeing his friends, playing and his teachers. Ms.Erica, the owner, has been a wonderful communicator - she is thoughtful, proactive, and provides so much support to the parent community. Our child feels loved and supported and weekly we receive lesson plans that are detailed and helpful for us to build on ideas and concepts at home. I cannot say enough nice things about ECLC, and the community at the school, we are so glad we moved here!

  • Fantastic, new daycare center in NE DC! Erika, the owner is wonderful, I believe it's a woman-owned small business. My toddler is learning so much and is very happy.

  • My son recently started at Exploring Child Learning Center, and I could not be happier with the experience! From the very first day, he was welcomed with so much love, care, and smiles that it instantly put both of us at ease. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful, and it shows in how excited he is to go each morning. The Reggio Emilia inspired activities are incredible, very creative, engaging, and truly child-led. They even organize fun field trips like to the post office and the splash pad. I love seeing how much my son learns and grows every day through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. The parent app is another amazing feature, it keeps me connected with photos, updates, and progress throughout the day, which means the world to me as a mom. The owner Erica is one of the warmest, kindest people you’ll ever meet. She has created not just a daycare, but a true community filled with warmth and care. We feel so lucky to have found Exploring Child Learning Center. Starting daycare can be such a big transition, but thanks to this incredible team, it has been the most wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommend!
