  • My experience at this daycare is all I hope would not happen. You got employees having my son wear other kids hats, clothes claiming it’s “donated” which I never believed that or I find out late about some sheets he used that wasn’t his because we don’t take them home until Friday. They’re very unorganized and have bad communication just always forgetting stuff like a bottle or like my son had to sit in a wet diaper until I got off work because they took his diapers out of his bag and didn’t tell me and those were meant to go home with my best friend. Which I don’t get why when I been told them when I dropped him off it’s not to be touched and they weren’t even used they were just taken out the bag so that’s weird. I have an employee telling me what diapers to get my son because pull ups are “time consuming” but isn’t this your job? And when things like this happens I tell the manager but she never and I mean never answers her emails. Nor did she sit us down to have a conversation so it just was always ackward coming there. When I tried scheduling with strong start it took us so much time just for my son to be seen for the first time because again she doesn’t reply to her emails at all. They’re very money hungry as well obviously because who on earth charges to potty train your kid? And then if your late ONE minute for pick up you get charged $20 automatically which is very inconsiderate and it’s supposed to be the first 15 minutes not after one.. and literally anything can happen. I had basically a small argument with the manager about 5 late fees that in my opinion did not exist and she couldn’t even tell me what date these occurred. She raised her voice saying, “I’m not going to go back and forth” and I’m just looking at her calm like I’m not trying to go back and forth which I said. I rarely was late for pick up and only recall two times I was late. So she really was trying to get over. And I asked her to send me the dates and she never did. It was so much ish going on I eventually gave up like why is my son coming home with a rash and I’m not being notified about it? That never even happened before and we’ve been there for a year. I just left it alone but luckily I’m not the parent to really cause a scene. Lastly, how we were treated when leaving was very unprofessional and disrespectful. The manager kicked my son out of daycare because of an email that I didn’t know she received at the time from DHS. And instead of her being there in person and explaining to me why my son had to go especially that early, she has her employee relay the message instead telling me “she said it’s your son’s last day and you have to get him right now” mind you it’s 3 hours before pick up time. But she’s so petty and feel some way about us leaving that she kicked my son out early. I could’ve been at work anything could’ve been going on and you just expect someone to jump up to get their child it’s disrespectful and unprofessional! And this the same manager who doesn’t answers her emails so it’s funny how quick she is to react to someone leaving her establishment because it looks bad on her. This manager obviously does not care for the well being of these kids and only cares about the money. She’s unprofessional, inconsiderate and doesn’t know how to control her emotions and it’s only her in charge which is worse because it’s nobody else to turn to with all this taking place. She should not be running a business at all.

  • I been with Lia's Rainbow center since September 2022. It's a clean n neat environment and the children are always happy n love to give hugs. The staff is very supportive towards eachother in every way. Mrs Taylor is 1 of the best directors I've worked for. She is very professional in managing her daycare n staff along with caring for your child . It's home away from home for me and I would definitely recommend coming to this daycare

  • Mrs.Taylor and her wonderful staff kept my daughter. When I picked her up each day she was always clean and happy. I could tell she was well-cared for. The staff took time to have conversations with her and would tell me some of the things she said. Highly recommended!!

  • Lia’s Rainbow is hands down the best childcare center! My child has been apart of Lia’s Rainbow family since 3 months old, and will be 3 years old in 1 month. The teachers are excellent. They are very attentive and compassionate and treat your children as if they are their own. The director (Ms.Taylor) is very approachable and responsive, always does her best to help you in any way she can! The facility is secure, cozy, an amazing learning environment and clean. The center is amazing and there are plenty of age appropriate toys and supplies in each classroom. My daughter LOVE it here and I love knowing that my daughter is being cared for and taught by top-notch teachers at a fantastic center!

  • My google response to P Moore as follows: Hello Mom, First and foremost, our team enjoyed the time that we spent with your child. I would like to address the claims you made in your review. We are sorry things did not work out during your time at Lia’s Rainbow however, writing false statements is not the way to handle lack of accountability. Per the handbook that you signed before bringing your child to daycare, you agreed to pay a late fee if your child is not picked on time. Not only did you show up late almost every day, but you also brought your child late to school frequently. Our team repeatedly reminded you of the policy and you stated that you would follow after several conversations. Lack of organizational skills were often found on your part as a parent, yet you were given several chances with the hope that you would have better preparation. After several months of disregarding the handbook that you signed, you were asked to pay a late fee. You got upset and went to DHS and terminated care the same day of the conversation because of “childcare concern.” Your child was not kicked out of daycare but you were asked to come pick up your child because you terminated care. After being asked to pick your child up, you showed up with the father of your child who acted very distasteful upon arrival. The father of your child resulted in physically assaulting a woman at the facility because you were unhappy with us requesting your child to be picked up. I would like to add that this was dad’s second time showing up to the facility since your child started. Following the situation, you wrote this review without fully being honest about what happened. I would like to add that you did state that the diapers in the book bag were for your best friend upon pick up however, when our team asked you ahead of time to bring diapers and change of clothing you did not bring them. You only brought the contents in bag. Your child did use donated diapers when he was out of materials, we did not leave your child wet and without diapers. We consistently communicated with you about your child’s needs although you followed through with our request at your own convenience. I hope that in the future you learn to accept and appreciate the chances that you were given as a parent and do not make the same mistakes elsewhere. Most importantly we remained respectful. Often times when the chances run out the false claims begin. Our team wishes you nothing but the best. Thank you.
