Love and Care Child Development Center

I couldn’t be happier with Love and Care Child Development Center. The staff are caring, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth and happiness. Much better than the last center I had him enrolled in ( I won’t mention any names) The environment is safe, clean, and welcoming, and the activities are both fun and educational. I see a major improvement in his social development. Certainly one thing less to worry about knowing he’s here at Love and Care. I would highly recommend this center!!!

Our daughter has been here for 3 years and she is thriving. She's happy to arrive every morning and often doesn't want to leave by the end of the day. We've had great teachers in every classroom and her current teachers, Ms LaToya and Ms Brittany are exceptional. They keep her busy with exciting activities and I'm constantly impressed with all that she's learning. The location is convenient, especially if you're on the way to the metro. The individual classrooms are small but the center is spacious with high ceilings and feels very open. There is a playground in the rear courtyard that is fully enclosed.

UPDATED 6/2026: Downgrading from 5 stars to 3 stars after enduring multiple random closures over the last 2 years due to a faulty HVAC system. Management seems either unable or unwilling to make changes needed to address the issue, leaving us randomly without childcare at the very last minute. In some cases, the center has announced it is closing on the morning-of. The classroom teachers have been wonderful but management is a mess. ORIGINAL REVIEW (2025): We couldn't be happier with the quality of care that our son has received at Love & Care since enrolling a year ago. It's clear that the staff love what they do, and as first-time parents we have felt supported every step of the way. The teachers do an incredible job supporting child development, which is evident in all of the new words and skills that our son comes home wanting to show off. Huge shout out to all of the teachers and staff that make Love & Care a place our son is excited to go to in the morning: Yaíma, Reina, Wibitu, Camila, Estella, Selam, Amador, María José, and Brittany.

While this center has the potential to be a great place for children, my experience with the staff and leadership has been incredibly frustrating. Despite multiple requests for a meeting with the higher management , I have been repeatedly ignored or denied access to direct communication. Staff members, particularly the Program Director Ms. Brittany, have been unhelpful and dismissive, making it extremely difficult to address concerns in a professional manner. Rather than fostering open communication with parents, certain staff members seem to take a combative approach, which only adds unnecessary stress. A childcare center should prioritize not only the well-being of the children but also respectful and professional interactions with parents. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience. I hope management takes steps to improve communication, professionalism, and overall leadership to better serve the families who depend on them.

As a parent who transitioned from a federal employee agency daycare to Love & Care, I can confidently say the only thing comparable is the price—everything else, Love & Care exceeds by a mile. The teachers are wonderful, and the kids receive actual lessons from dedicated providers. The staff is friendly, and management is always responsive to any correspondence. The location couldn’t be more convenient if you live in the area. We’ve had an amazing experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Love & Care to friends and family.
