  • MSOW is such an incredible school. Their environment and the atmosphere has such an amazing impact on the child’s development and growth. The school really emphasizes and focuses on each child and their independence. The staff and management team are extremely professional, excellent communicators and incredibly welcoming. It truly is one of the best Montessori in the DC area. Highly recommended!

  • I couldn’t be happier with our experience at MSOW. From the thoughtful environment to the warm and dedicated teachers, everything reflects a true commitment to the Montessori philosophy. The school really puts children first — emotionally, socially, and academically. They’ve also been a huge support during potty training, encouraging my son at his own pace and celebrating his milestones without ever forcing the process. As a parent, it gives me so much peace of mind to know my son is surrounded by educators who truly understand and support him. Watching his confidence and curiosity grow every day has been the best gift of all. Highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a genuine Montessori experience.

  • Below is the review I posted 3 years ago. The owner flagged it for deletion from Google to keep 5-star reviews and my review was deleted. I randomly came across this school again and my husband said my review was deleted off Google. I took my child out several years ago but I still believe folks should know how shady this place is. Review from 3 years ago: These reviews need updating. If you’re looking for a quality toddler Montessori program, I recommend looking elsewhere. I give some people credit for trying but at the end of the day, I would strongly advise against this “Montessori School” that’s really just another daycare. I felt they were disorganized, dismissive of concerns unless pushed, high turnover, no quality instruction (only one teacher is Montessori certified and she is in Primary). My child learned nothing that I didn’t already show him at home, and I felt like he regressed in some skills. He is MUCH happier in his new school, comes home singing songs and showing me what he learned in merely 3 weeks.

  • My 3-year old daughter has had a wonderful experience at MSOW. We witnessed her growth and development take off immediately after she joined and that has only continued. She is always surprising us at home with things she has learned at school - whether it's 'practical life' skills, such as tidying up after herself, or more academic skills, such as knowing her numbers and letters. The Montessori activities are particularly engaging and they really stretch the minds of the children. The Montessori philosophy has taught my daughter valuable life skills and the school has provided a nurturing environment where she loves to learn and interact with the other children and teachers. My daughter is very happy and stimulated at MSOW and she loves going to school each day. We feel we couldn't ask for more from a preschool!

  • We strongly recommend this school, not only for what it offers to your child in the academic way, but mostly for the way they offer it, using the Montessori philosophy. The teachers in this school are amazing! They are always smiling! You can easily understand that they love what they do by the way they approach our kids! Our daughter had the smoothiest transition ever when she first started to go to MSOW, thanks to the teachers. Teacher-parent relationship is also amazing!

  • This is a wonderful school! The teachers are very dedicated and committed to help the kids learn. They also work extremely hard to meet the needs of children and parents. Get rid of any doubts you may have for your kid's school next semester and sign them up to this one. This school will help your kid achieve anything they can.
