CHILDREN & FAMILIES FIRST HEAD START SMYRNA

Honestly they don’t even deserve a one start. The Smyrna Head start program on brenford is absolutely horrible !!! They are so unprofessional & tbh rude. First of all I was told my kids would start school beginning of September , come September I was told the “Teacher” had a major surgery scheduled and that their classroom would not be opening until the staffing issues were resolved. October, November & December I called for updates on the classroom and was told I probably wouldn’t hear anything until AFTER CHRISTMAS. Tell me why they call me YESTERDAY that my daughter had less then 24 hours to start or she would loose her spot. No instructions , no explanation , no time to arrange any plans I needed to put in place for my daughter to be able to be picked up from school safely and on time. I call today to speak to the director and they claim they “attempted “ to get ahold of me last Friday. I have zero text , phone calls, emails or voicemails. The ONLY information I have was from a 3 minute phone call yesterday where the lady was rude and not listening at all to what I was saying basically told me it’s my problem I can bring my daughter to start or not I didn’t bother her. So now my kids have been withdrawn and will NOT be attending headstart. Instead they’ve been put on a different pre school waitlist. Had I known they would be this much of a nightmare I never would have bothered with it!! If they don’t care about us as parents they definitely don’t care about the kids!!! I’ve never seen a more unprofessional program in my life. My nephew attend this program last year and it was also a nightmare for my sister!! Not as bad as the experience I had but still not pleasant.
