**********I initially tagged Kids Cottage in this on Facebook, but they blocked me to remove their tag. Talk about accountability. I had my son on the Kids Cottage waiting list for over a year and called periodically to check on our status. After all that time, I was told today when calling to follow up, they had supposedly called me on 5/12 to offer us a spot. I checked my phone records, and there was no incoming call from Kids Cottage on that date. They also claimed they attempted to leave a voicemail but couldn't because my mailbox was full, which is untrue considering my voicemail has never been full. I spoke directly with Megan, who said she made the call and documented it. Based on my phone records, either the wrong number was called or the documentation was inaccurate. I even offered to bring my Verizon records to verify that no call was received, but I was told it would be "pointless." Instead of acknowledging the possibility of an error or working toward a reasonable solution, the only option they offered was to place us back at the very end of the waiting list, meaning another one to two years of waiting. After contesting that Megan rudely stated that we are banned from Kids Cottage and hung up on me. Very professional. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and customer service from the administrative staff was extremely disappointing. If this is how they handle something as important as enrollment, it raises serious concerns about their organization. While I'm frustrated that we lost over a year waiting due to an administrative mistake on their end, I'm ultimately relieved my son won't be attending a daycare that handles families this way or doesn’t train their staff appropriately.

The education and child care our son and daughter received was top notch! Their learning ability, creativity and social skills grew leaps and bounds from the first day until graduation. I know our children were better prepared for kindergarten because of the teachers and staff at Kids Cottage.

It is such a relief to know that my children spend a large portion of their time in an environment that is fun, educational, and safe. I have no doubt that the teachers truly care about the kids. My pre-schooler absolutely has thrived at Kids Cottage, and we are so grateful to have a school like this in our area. We've used almost all of the KC services -- daycare, preschool, drop-in care, and day camps. All have proven to be excellent!
G JacksonMay 9, 2015I couldn't be happier with Kids Cottage. The teachers and staff are wonderful. They are very caring towards the children and you can tell they genuinely love their jobs. The communication is always open between parents and staff. The owners are very hands on and involved as well. They are usually there to greet us every morning with a smile. They know each of the kids that attends their school. My son has been there since he was 6 months old(initially in the daycare and then the Preschool) and will be graduating PreK in the next few weeks at age 5. The education he has received has him fully prepared to enter Kindergarten in the fall. He loves it there and comes home happy everyday. He is sad that he can't return again next year. I also have my 2 year old daughter there and she loves it as well. She is thriving in her classroom and has really come out of her shell since being there. I love to listen to all the new things she has learned when she gets home. They have a lot of great extra activities to choose from such as yoga, cooking, spanish, reading, karate etc. Along with movie nights, "cookies and canvas", and other fun events for the kids. Overall it is a great school and daycare and I would highly recommend it to anyone. My kids love it and we as parents feel very comfortable with our kids there! I'm glad that I chose this for my children's early education and daycare.
Kim GrapskiMay 9, 2015When my husband and I first were looking at preschools for our then 2 year old daughter, we wanted a religous based school. We had a wonderful 2 year experience at this preschool. I ended up returning to work and needed a place that would offer after school care. We sent our now preK daughter to Kids Cottage with anxiety about a new school. Kids Cottage has been absolutely amazing! The teachers are preparing our daughter for Kindergarten. Handwriting without tears, math manipulatives, and so many other creative ways of learning have fostered her growth. All the teachers, other parents, and students have become an extended family. I am sad our daughter will be leaving Kids Cottage for Kindergarten next school year, but am excited to start the journey there from the beginning with my 2 year old son!
