My family just relocated here from New Jersey. This will be our sons first time in daycare we highly recommend Luis Valdez with head start he helped us to get our son enrolled and we are so very great full!! Sylvia the administrator was very kind and knowledgeable as well as the staff. It’s a clean and presentable establishment and we are excited to start this journey together!! I just moved back to Delaware was in search of care and Omg! My daughter is 4 and she loves it here. I love that the facility is always neat, clean, and they still have practices in place to safeguard against COVID. I love that everything is green no paperwork, There is code access for the door and payment self service at the door. They have an app to review a summary of your child's care and pictures of them daily. The kids are also nice as well. Ive had many pleasant experiences with the owner and all staff. Like all care centers there are rules (cut off times, etc) but nothing too extreme that it can't be followed. I Would definitely recommend!

My granddaugther has been at this daycare since she was an infant. The owner took care of her mother, my daughter when she was young. The place is secure and clean! Children's safety and health is important. The program that is offered at this daycare makes it stress free for a single parent. I know when she is there, she is safe and well taken care of.

All four of my children have attend and still attend this daycare. This was the first daycare my children attended since moving to Dover. It’s a small daycare which I love. I love the fact I’m dropping my child off to a clean and secure establishment. You can’t just walk in the doors which makes me feel safe as a parent. Like other daycares my children attended you don’t smell dirty diapers as soon as you walk in. My kids attended other daycares and were constantly sick with hand foot mouth. I can honestly say my kids haven’t been sick except for a cold or two. I’ve know the director for years and she loves her kids. She goes out her way to make sure your kids have the best learning experience while there. The staff I love, they get to know your child personally. I have nothing bad to say about this daycare. I have a 2 year that has been here since birth and loves his teachers. Kids R Us is like a second home for my son. Keep up the good work and continue to grow our futures.

We had our son enrolled in this place last year when we moved into the area, and boy did we wish we read the reviews prior. As other reviewers have already mentioned, the admin, Silvia, is very rude and has an attitude toward parents and children alike that really makes me wonder why she runs a daycare to begin with. She painted our son as a terrible child and would chastise us about typical behavior for a then 2 year old. We absolutely did not want our son being around that woman, despite all the other staff being quite kind and understanding. Even when we tried leaving, she threatened legal action on us because she misread a billing statement accusing us of not paying for our last week. Even when we proved that she was mistaken, I never got an apology from her. I recommend The Children’s Place nearby, they took us in at the last minute and were wonderful. If Silvia is not there, then this place would get favorable reviews and be recommended, otherwise stay away.
