  • Lil Red Hen has gone above and beyond to follow CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of the children and the staff. Investing in additional sanitizing equipment as well as modifying the daily activities and procedures to provide a clean and safe environment demonstrates their commitment to the well-being of the children.

  • As a single parent both of my children went to this daycare and I absolutely loved it... They always made me and my children feel like family. Any issues , problems or concerns they never would hesitate to give me or my children's father a call... Even if it was something silly...every Field Trip was fun..I love Ann and Tom ...

  • As a joint custody parent the daycare in email stated they had the Order both parents must approve and Mr Frank the leader wrote back he would not be accepted due to this (it’s out of state for our school). He then stated his father got an attorney letter which does not override a court order. He was sick and told his teacher two weeks ago and she said there was nothing she could do about it never taking his temp or calling a parent. When asked it was told he wasn’t really sick - are they medical professionals and is Covid not a concern? Additionally, I as his mother emailed to ask about the incident with zero response. Today he came home with ZERO school work done! I sporadically jump onto zooms on noncustodial days and see children next to my son with zero mask and no teachers around. It is an unprofessional, unsafe, and poorly staffed location.

  • At the time when my nephew was going there he was the youngest one I think he was either six or seven months. My nephew caught the hands foot and mouth disease not once not twice but three times since he had been attending for those few short months. Then one day I go to pick him up didn't make it inside of the building yet and I heard a baby crying to the top of his lungs outside in the parking lot I'm asking myself is that my nephew crying then I go inside the little foyer and I'm hearing his cries even louder I asked the woman in the classroom soon as you walk in the door was that my nephew crying she stated she didn't know and asked me his age when I told her how old he was she pointed to the classroom in the back near the playground. As I started walking towards the classroom the cries are even louder. I look and see my nephew laying on this bare naked floor with no mat underneath him and I can tell he had just been laying in the floor just crying for a long period of time because he had snot all on his face and when I picked him up he didn't know who I was because snot was in his eyes all on his face from where he was just laying on the ground rubbing on his face and he was trying to catch his breath. The care provider that was there at that moment was sitting in a rocking chair with two other kids that was old enough and big enough to move around and walk around on their own and she was letting a 6 to 7 months old baby just laying the floor with not mat cry. Which my nephew had more than enough tummy Time mats that if one was messed up he had several others to use he was laying on the floor with no mat where people had their shoes on walking around this floor. I hope they do way better with cleaning and disinfecting with this covid 19 than they did with that hand's foot and mouth disease. Needless to say that was my nephew's last day at Little red hen I took him out did not bring him back and made his mother withdraw him from their roster. Can you say one angry auntie that was definitely me. They definitely need to do better.
