  • If you're black not of Hispanic descent don't bother there are rules of hair styles or things you cannot put in protective styled hair. I had to explain in front of a group and the director(3blacks& 1 hispanic) why culturally my child had beads cause they didnt understand why i told them in my culture we do hair with beads. Child had bead from Nov. To Jan. Suddenly there's an issue. Director couldn't be reached during the week for 2 weeks to do paperwork but responds to emails a few times on superbowl weekend after we told them we are not returning on Friday. Make it make sense. Also when things go wrong excuses are made for kids and staff. PS-please don't respond with a lie. As you made us feel awkward attending your daycare.

  • Our experience with this daycare and its staff has been extremely positive. The small class size, teacher and administrative engagement, and care at all levels have made such a difference for our son. He was bored and acting out at a previous childcare center. PLH keeps him engaged and challenged with lots of varied activities during the day, and they have helped him navigate the transition. I have seen a big improvement in just the first few weeks, and I think he will only continue to grow in their care. The teachers and admins provide thorough updates and communications each day. I am very thankful we were referred to this center by a professional who consults with them, or else we may have overlooked it.
