I couldn’t be happier with my experience at The Goddard School of Wilmington. From day one, the staff has been incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in the growth and well-being of min and every child. The teachers create a nurturing and engaging environment that balances learning and play in a way that keeps kids excited to come in each day. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, encouraging creativity, independence, and social development, while also building a strong academic foundation. I’ve seen noticeable progress in my child’s communication skills, confidence, and curiosity since enrolling. Cleanliness, safety, and communication are clearly top priorities here. The facility is always well-maintained, and the updates we receive give real peace of mind throughout the day.

Before selecting The Goddard School of Wilmington, my husband and I researched various early childhood development centers in the area and went on several tours. Miss Lisa gave us the tour and we immediately felt good energy. Our 2 year old daughter wanted to engage with staff and students during the tour. We knew this would be the best fit for our daughter. From the very beginning, the administration and teachers have been nothing short of amazing. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Goddard School of Wilmington! As parents, one of the biggest decisions is trusting someone else with your child—especially after having her home with us for the first two years of her life. The biggest gift this center has given us is peace of mind. It’s such a relief to know she is in great hands, learning, growing, and being cared for with so much love and attention. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about each child’s growth and well-being. They’ve created such a nurturing and safe environment, and it shows in how comfortable and happy our daughter is every day. My children have both attended Goddard Wilmington since infancy and absolutely thrived. My oldest was more than prepared for kindergarten. The teachers and staff are exceptional- caring and kind but firm. As full-time working parents, we also appreciate the school calendar’s compatibility with typical work schedules.

My children attended Goddard School from infancy through pre-kindergarten. My son recently graduated and began first grade this school year, while my daughter is currently in pre-kindergarten. When choosing a school, I considered several factors, including safety, curriculum quality, diversity, logistics and convenience. Safety was my top priority. I always felt secure and confident in the care my children received from the dedicated staff. The school’s app provided daily updates, keeping me informed about their well-being. The curriculum impressed me with its structured approach and emphasis on social-emotional development and behavioral skills. My children excelled academically and consistently outperformed their peers who did not attend Goddard School. Diversity was another crucial factor for me. The school’s location boasted a diverse student body with various backgrounds. I wanted my children to be exposed to different cultures and perspectives during their formative years, and they truly enjoyed it. Logistics and convenience were essential, considering that we live nearby and commuting to work. The school’s location and operating hours perfectly aligned with my schedule. A bonus was the strong sense of community. The children in my children’s class are smart, incredibly friendly and well-behaved. The parents are also pleasant and supportive, creating a positive environment. It has been a delight to observe the children’s friendships outside of school, particularly during birthday parties and field trips.
