THE NEXT STEP LEARNING CENTER AT CAMDEN

My child loves this daycare! His teachers are very sweet and adapt to his needs especially with him having a severe speech delay. The director is very kind and helpful. No complaints!

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE I should have wrote this review when this happened to me six months ago, but I thought I had washed my hands of this facility. My child only attended here for three weeks before I had to pull her out because I was uncomfortable with a teacher and I had addressed my concern several times to the director Christina, and each time I was lied to that this teacher was not interacting with my child. Yet on their app It showed her doing different things with my child and each time I was told that it was somebody else. I even walked in one morning and there she was in my child’s class as her teacher. Now six months later, they are trying to extort me . they sent me a bill falsifying information saying that I owe more than I do when my child was only there for three weeks. I also had forfeited my deposit. The facility my child is in now is Way better we have been here since then no issues with teachers, no issues with payments. Everybody is honest and respectful. Even several teachers from next step learning center have left and came to work at this facility. I’ve also heard of several parents that left as well. The owner Lee and the director, Christina are crooked and Manipulative. They will tell you whatever you wanna hear to pacify the situation. Just because the facility is updated and new Is smoke and mirrors

My daughter is on her second week at "The Next Steps Learning Center- Camden and our family loves the new center compared to Shells-Camden where she was going. The rates are MORE AFFORDABLE, there are FEWER CHILDREN IN EACH CLASS, CALMER ATMOSPHERE, and More one-on-one learning, New facility that is Clean and organized and we see that her new teacher Ms. Shanice is invested in the children, She's AWSOME! Ms. Kristina and Ms. Lee are doing a great job and we are so happy we have made this change, WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! :)

Unfortunately, the owner Leah, as well as Christine or Christina, whatever her name is believe that they know better than special-needs teachers (7 to be exact)andDarrisa Everett, the principal at star Hill. The principal from Starhill took time out of her schedule to come and meet with Lee as well as Myself and Pastor Robin and the principal said well what I know is it’s us that have been working with Sedona since she was three years old. After the meeting, the principal said she would never ever send anyone to this daycare that she was mortified because Leah all she did was talk and talk and talk. And really it was some embarrassment on Leah as well as the Christina or Christina whatever her name. None of us had to say much of anything because she ran the show and it didn’t look too good. This is very late because I am very busy with better things. They told me as a parent that they would get the IEP off of my daughter as fast as possible remind you, my daughter has been working with the Easter seals since she was a baby. There’s a reason why she has multiple delays. They do not have any experience in special needs or degrees that would allow them to say something so broad. They can say that they’ve been working as daycare owners for decades, but it doesn’t matter because they don’t have the actual credentials to determine if a child has special needs. Shame on them. Go to beach babies all day every day as well as law school kids cottage. I have ran into multiple teachers that have left there and said all it seem to be was all about gossip. And those teachers are so much happier and one actually did an amends and said that she was forced to do something that she never wanted to do. In which my attorney has been in contact with her. Lastly, I will say this the police department fully investigate it a false, and Realator claim that was made by the center with my daughter. It was completely noted after the worker met with some of the employees that it was retaliatory, and that there was some intimidation. I ask questions because I am very well educated. And the police department has actually allowed me the opportunity to have the person that made the report arrested on site. And I still have quite a bit of time to decide if I’m going to do that. And I think that that is wonderful because it is against the law to make a false claim. It’s a big no-no. Needless to say, obviously was completely cleared. And like they had said, it was absolutely repertory. And it’s all over their notes. They also kicked out an IEP student that was absolutely impeccable so I have a Attorney for that also. You cannot do that especially when a kid is so well-behaved if you’re going to own a daycare be prepared to have parents challenge you ask questions and keep you on your feet because we are our children’s advocates not you. Us the parents. And we have the right to ask as many questions as we want.

MY DAUGHTER loves this daycare best decision i have ever made after being a stay at home mom for 10 months . this is an amazing facility ! 100000/10 on my book ! my little sister also loves the summer camp they have here and she is 10!
