  • I truly don’t even know where to begin with my experience at Smart Start Learning Academy. This place is nothing short of a nightmare, primarily due to the unprofessionalism of Ms. Rose, who seems to be the face of the daycare. From my very first interaction, it was clear that she lacks the basic communication skills needed to work with parents, let alone children. Her attitude is dismissive and rude; she often speaks to parents with an air of condescension, as if we are a nuisance rather than partners in our children’s education. It seems that Ms. Rose is more concerned with nitpicking minor issues, like my daughter’s runny nose because of this dirty daycare, than the kids! Ironically, while she is quick to point out trivial matters, she has no problem taking our money and charging exorbitant fees for what can only be described as a dirty and poorly maintained facility. As for the care provided to the younger children, it is alarmingly inadequate. The staff appears to favor the older kids, who can fend for themselves and articulate their needs. This leaves the babies neglected, with little attention paid to their well-being or comfort. It’s heartbreaking to witness; these little ones deserve better than being overlooked in favor of children who can voice their concerns. Moreover, the overall cleanliness of the daycare is appalling. It’s hard to believe that a facility responsible for caring for children would allow such conditions to persist. This place is not just messy; it feels unsafe and unwelcoming. I cannot stress enough how I would not recommend Smart Start Learning Academy to anyone. Ms. Rose is not only untrustworthy but also seems to be driven solely by a desire for profit rather than a genuine care for the children. It’s clear this daycare prioritizes money over the health and safety of our kids. In my opinion, this place needs to be shut down immediately before any more families are subjected to such poor care and disrespect. If you value your child’s safety and well-being, I urge you to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other options out there that provide a clean, nurturing environment where children can thrive. If I could I would’ve left zero stars! Avoid this place at all costs!

  • I never believed in daycares until I started sending my now three y/o here, now all my little babies go here… I have no complaints just great reviews. I literally would not recommend any other daycare. The best of the best. That’s it that’s all. 3 years in attendance and we won’t be going anywhere else. Clockkkkk itttttt

  • My child has been attending for the past 4 years. Her teachers have been wonderful. From the owners to the staff and teacher, they are all pleasant as well as firm when needed. The curriculum along with family involvement has been huge in setting my child up for success in their future education. The school is always clean, and frankly I like that they take precautions to eliminate the spread of germs as much as possible.

  • A Smart Start Learning Academy truly feels like a family-based business. From my experience, everyone is treated like family. My daughter has attended the center since she was 2 years old and is now in Pre-K. The owners, Mrs. Rose and Mr. Redding, are very hands-on and involved. I’ve seen so much growth in my daughter, and she has learned tremendously during her time there.I’m very grateful for the care and education she’s received.

  • The owner, Mrs Rose is nasty. Her attitude doesn’t make me feel comfortable about keeping my kid there. It’s a shame. I left the facility because she said I couldn’t send my child to daycare if her snot isn’t clear. No fever, no cough, just discolored snot. I was getting phone calls to leave work because of it and it’s an inconvenience to me as a parent. I pay the daycare to ensure my child is taken care of and I can go to work. If I can’t work, it’s a waste of money. I told her that wasn’t in her handbook & is not state regulated. When I went to pick my child up, she changed the handbook that day and handed it to me to sign to be smart. Aside from that incident, every morning, she has an attitude on her face and barely speaks. There are never consistent workers in there, everybody leaves because of her. I really wanted stability for my child so I tried to stick it out. But I just couldn’t do it.

  • My daughter has gone to two different learning centers that turned out to just being a daycare, she was never learning anything at both locations. I brought my daughter here to A Smart Start Learning Academy and she has grown so much and has learned so much in a very little time. We love Ms. Cox she is so loving and caring for these babies here. I don’t have to worry about my daughter being here at this Learning center she’s getting what she needs and she’s always ready to go back to school verses her crying every day not wanting to go to the other two daycares.
